Juniperpaw walked into the apprentice's den to get to know the surroundings.
Finally, she thought, I'm an apprentice! I wonder who my mentor is going to be?

Infernopaw saw the new apprentice come into the den, and sat up. It was juniperpaw, one of the newest apprentices.

Juniperpaw quickly settled into an unused nest close to hers.
"How long have you been an apprentice?", she asked.

Nightpaw glared over. She was half asleep, and then she heard them talking loudly. She covered her ears with her paws, and ducked into her nest to hide before they could see her looking over. She then took one paw off her ear, and listened in on their conversation without them knowing.
