Fishpaw's eyes dazzled with delight as she entered her new den. Looking around she saw tones of open nests and was feeling amazing! She was now an apprentice! This was exciting, wonderful, it made her bounce with joy! Where was Yewpaw, Cinderpaw and Hollowpaw? They all must pick there nests together! And talk about how happy they were, oooh this was going to be great!

"Mine!" he yowled with joy, hopping into some moss. Wait! Someone already owned it. . . "Third time I've done that." he muttered. "Oh hey, Fishpaw!"

"Hey there Hollowpaw! Man isn't this great! I think i'll pick this one, NO! This one... Nah, I like this one."
She muttered moving all over the den till one near the den entrance, smiling she looked to Hollowpaw.
"What do you think? good, not good? Cool, not cool?"
Fishpaw asked happily, her deep blue eyes just sparkling in the den light.
"I like it myself. But it needs more feathers!"

"Great! Let's do this thing!"
She purred, almost unable to speak she was so happy and excited. Then she trudged out of the den bounding across the camp to get some feathers. Looking around she grabbed some that was left on the ground and carried them back, placing some on her nest then the rest in the middle.
"Come, I tried to collect more then I needed for you guys! I think there should be plenty...."
There was only two left.
"Ummm, never mind..."
Fishpaw muttered.

Junipertree bounded over to her.
"Hey! Congrats on becoming an apprentice!" she said, " I was about to go hunting. Do you want to come? Then maybe later I can help you guys pick the PERFECT nest!"

"Hey you guys! Isn't this awesome? We're finally apprentices!"
She purred in delight, and padded over to a nest.
"Is this one taken?"
