Mintpaw stumbled onto her paws and headed for her nest. She rolled onto her back and stared at the sky. The sun's rays shone down, hurting her eyes. Mintpaw turned her back on the sun and blinked a couple of times. Staring at the sun made everything she looked at fuzzy. While yawning, she made herself comfortable by putting her head onto her front paws. [/size]

" Hey!"Mintpaw looked up and saw Whitepaw with a wad of moss clamped in her jaws," What's the moss for?" Mintpaw reluctantly walked off her nest and padded over to one of her friends.

Silverpaw saw her friend Mintpaw. "Hey!" She ran up to Mintpaw. She looked at Whitepaw. She greeted her warmly too. |

"Good," Mintpaw replied," What about you?" Mintpaw looked at Sliverpaw who was staring at her with big, bright eyes," Umm... what's wrong?" Mintpaw asked, still looking at Silverpaw.

Skypaw came trotting over to the group of cats. "Hi, Mintpaw!" She glanced up at the warrior, "Who are you?" She asked, gazing up at the stripped she-cat. "I've never seen you before." Skypaw padded around the older cat, finally, she sat in front of her. "I'm Skypaw!"

"Hey Skypaw!" Mintpaw greeted her. Skypaw was her best friend. She prodded her with a paw and slipped to the other side, trying to distract her to pounce on her. Mintpaw saw her turn her head and knocked over Skypaw, " gotcha! " Mintpaw mewed, excitely.
