Apprentice Hunting Team 2

[Mintstorm]

"Well, I think we should move back to land creatures," Mintpaw suggested,"Our Clanmates might get sick of the fish." She lifted her fish from the stream, letting it hold water to keep it fresh and clean. Sheathing her claws, she held the big fish in her jaws. The gray and white apprentice padded over to her hidden fresh-kill hole. Thinking about it, she decided to use another rock in case it gets wet.
"Streampaw!" Mintpaw yelled, loud enough for only Streampaw to hear. "Maybe we shouldn't leave the fish in our holes. They might soak the prey," She suggested, scraping 2 paw-fuls of moss from a tree. She flattened the moss, placing it on the bottom to absorb the water. Putting her fish on top of the moss, she mumbled to Streampaw," You can put your fish here!"

[Streamfall]

"That sounds like a good idea."She replies happily to Mintpaw,they had enough fish as it was.Yet as she was about to turn away from the stream,something popped out of the water and splashed her a bit.She looked instantly and saw it was a a fish?She wondered but what kind.It landed back in the water,the fin tail last disappearing.Staying where she was and waited for it to jump out again,she looked ahead of her.There was a small yet stable smooth stone across from her.

Her tail swung to and fro as she looked in the water,seeing it come up again and that moment she leaped across the water,sailing over it then the fish came out,it looked like in slow motion and did a flip as high as Streampaw and she caught it,jaws opened and made it over the the rock.There hanged the fish in her jaws landing steadily on the slippery rock.Getting her grip together she jumped back onto the shore.Salmon Streampaw caught.

That was going to be the last fish for today Streampaw would catch.As she waited till the water was done dripping then one at a time carried her fish onto the moss Mintpaw suggested to do.Putting her own fish altogether in one place. "Thanks Mintpaw." She smiles at her friend. "You have a way of keeping our prey fresh" She mews happily,she appreciated it,"Oh I can't wait till we take our prey back to the clan!" "We make an excellent team together."

[Mintstorm]

"Yep," Mintpaw looked at Streampaw," What should we do now?" The gray and white apprentice sat on her haunches, waiting for a reply.
"By the way, nice catch!"She finally realized that Streampaw had caught a salmon.

The bushes rustled and rustled till Viperpaw lunged out. " What are you guys doing out here to? "

[Streamfall]

"I think we have enough prey for now.."Streampaw mews,"Although I guess we would have to take a few trips here and back in order to bring our prey to the clan or maybe not.It won't take that long."She mews to Mintpaw.
Hearing a bush rustle,she glanced at Viperpaw,another apprentice. ,"Hello."Streampaw says to him though it shouldn't all be not so much of a nice greeting but it turned out like that anyway.This one was no threat And couldn't much be a spy because he wasn't on this team or the team 1.

She waved her tail in greeting to Viperpaw.Having nothing more to say,Streampaw wondered what Mintpaw's response would be with Viperpaw's question..

[Mintstorm]

"Or maybe we should continue," Mintpaw added. Then, she turned to Viperpaw," What are you doing here?" The gray and white apprentice looked at Viperpaw," Hey, I remember you from the nursery!" Mintpaw stood there, looking at Viperpaw.

[Streamfall]

"Yep,I say we continue."She suggested and agreed.She looked at Viperpaw..What was he doing here anyway?There was only two apprentices hunting.Might as well ask this.
"Hey there!"Streampaw called to Viperpaw,"Want to join us?"She asks,inviting him.As she turned and looking at the stream again.

[Mintstorm]

"Streampaw!" Mintpaw yowled to her friend," We're not catching fish anymore!" She smacked Streampaw's head playfully away from the stream.

Viperpaw~ " Sure, I was out here earlier with my mentor hunting but she returned to the warriors den I think, and I continued exploring the area. "

[Mintstorm]

"Now, we are Apprentice Hunting Team Two," The gray and white apprentice mewed, accepting Viperpaw into their team. Then, she gave him a option," You can either come with us when you hunt, or go alone." Looking at the brown apprentice, she waited for his answer.

[Streamfall]

She nodded in approval as she turned away from the stream of fish,looking at Viperpaw.
"About time we had some new recruits.Welcome to the team Viperpaw."She accepts him into the team and awaiting Viperpaw's answer.

[Streamfall]

Streampaw flicks her tail,signalling and excusing herself,not really going to wait for Viperpaw's answer.Didn't matter to her whether he hunted with /alone. And walks off,picking up her fish,wrapped in leafs and walking away from the stream toward her little storage hole to put her fish in where the other rest of the prey was in.

.It was getting a bit full as she sets it down. ~Hmm..I think three more would do..~She thought. By that time she would take her prey back to the clan. The white apprentice chased down and caught a field mouse underneath a pine pointed tree.

[Mintstorm]

Mintpaw ignored Viperpaw because he was just sitting there. She got into a hunting crouch and stalked a vole. The apprentice paused. Then, she wiggled her haunches and pounced on the vole. With her paws holding the prey down, she broke its spine with her mouth. The gray and white apprentice held the fresh-kill in her jaws and padded over to the hidden fresh-kill in the holes. She dropped them, and waited for another scent of prey.

A thought comes to Streampaw and says it aloud."Just think!With Team 1 and Team 2 all prey combined together it would be enough for everyone in the clan."She mews,"Should we decide what den we will each go to to take to them,or just leave it in the freshkill pile for everyone to take?"She asks.Either way,it seemed easy.

And multi tasks,hunting as well as listening for the answer.

"I guess we should leave it on the fresh-kill pile," Mintpaw suggested.
