Apprentice Hunting Team 2

[Mintstorm]

"Hm.. I can teach you the hunters' crouch." Mintstorm volunteered.
"Bend your legs." She instructed. "Don't let your tail stir up the leaves. Perfect! Now, just walk as silently as you can and pretend that leaf is prey."
"Oh, and don't forget to keep your weight evenly on all four paws!" Mintstorm reminded her, watching the mentorless apprentice stalk the leaf.

[Streamfall]

Streampaw went and did a death bite on the rabbit Mintstorm had still had held down. There hanging through her jaws was the dangling dead rabbit.

[Sunpaw]

Leopardpaw focused on crouching exactly as Mintstorm had instructed and stalked forward every muscle tense. Sh pounced on the leaf and gave it a nip. "Like that?" She asked Mintstorm.

[Mintstorm]

"Yep." Mintstorm replied.
"Why don't you try it on that mouse?" She flicked her tail over to a mouse scuffling under a leaf.

[Sunpaw]

Leopardpaw listened intently, and located the mouse. She stalked forward like she had before and rocked on her haunches before leaping high into the air to land on the mouse. It struggled but Leopardpaw had already nipped it for the death bite. She purred and padded back to Mintstorm, the mouse dangling from her jaws. "Thanks Mintstorm! You'll make a great mentor someday!" she mewed and picked the mouse back up to carry it to camp.

[Mintstorm]

"Your welcome!" Mintstorm mewed when Leopardpaw started headed for the camp.

[Sweetpetal]

Sweetpaw padded up "Hey, can I join you guys?" she mewed shyly.

[Streamfall]

Streampaw: ",Sure you can!!"She mews happily to Sweetpaw,"Come hunt." Now again there was just Mintstorm and Streampaw and add to that: Sweetpaw! She mews excitedly,"Prey prey prey!Will have the freshkill pile over stocked!"

[Mintstorm]

"Sure!" Mintstorm mewed, inviting Sweetpaw into Apprentice Hunting Team 2.
"About time we got new members.." Mintstorm mumbled under her breath.

[Streamfall]

Streampaw mews,"Oh right new members!"She smiles .

Streampaw looks around,"Hey, Uh.. Where is Viperpaw?"Streampaw sees him once and not at all.He said he join our little team.Now he wasn't here. "I suppose he changed his mind."

[Mintstorm]

"Probably." Mintstorm muttered.
"Now let's get hunting!" The gray-and-white warrior bounded away, looking for a sign of prey.

[Streamfall]

"Come on Sweetpaw!Let's hunt!"Streampaw mews and begins to scent prey.

[Mintstorm]

She spun around at the scent of a vole. Getting into the hunters' crouch, she started stalking the vole. When Mintstorm was about 1 tail-length away, she pounced. The warrior quickly nipped the vole's spine, breaking it. She trotted over to her hidden fresh-kill and stored the vole in it.

[Streamfall]

Streampaw pads away from Sweetpaw and runs once she catches a the scent of vole.She begins in a hunting crouch quietly stalks it and close enough she leaps and knocking it out unnoticeable and unseen for the creature to know Streampaw was even there.Where she caught the vole was in a thick blend of grass,the scent of it so wild and fresh.
Victory it was for Streampaw and the vole was dead;prey.Freshkill.

[Mintstorm]

Mintstorm whizzed around, seeing Streampaw with a vole. The warrior walked away, looking for some fresh-kill.
