Apprentice Hunting Team 2

[Streamfall]

Streampaw carried her vole to the fresh storage area and then went back to hunting.
The calico apprentice was bored of hunting.All hunt and action but no talk.Streampaw traveled along the weeded grass and pine trees ahead.She heard chirping,birds singing along in the trees,flying high in the sunny sky.

Streampaw looked at the birds but thought she had enough flying animals she caught and especially was not going to get anymore due to the little bird attack she had a little earlier ago.

Streampaw continued her search and there a squirrel came down the pine pointed tree,down the branch and into the ground now caught scent of a mountain cat;Streampaw and ran.

Finally!Streampaw saw and began chasing it,how fast it was it dashed blending into the brown ground of dirt and there it was heading into a gopher hole! There Streampaw followed.

[Sunpaw]

Leopardpaw was practicing her stalk, when she heard Streampaw. He seemed to be chasing some prey. I'll watch how she does it. She thought, and silently sat down to observe.

[Sweetpetal]

Sweetpaw padded away at the scent mouse and began to stalk. She saw the mouse scuttling among tree roots nibbling on a seed. Sweetpaw crouched into a hunters crouch her paws steady her mind set she inched closer to her prey. The mouse kept nibbling mindlessly, as she crept closer. Sweetpaw stepped on a twig "Mouse dung!" she hissed as she lunged forward. The mouse darted away but Sweetpaw was to fast and killed it swiftly with a bite to the neck. She beamed as she went and buried her catch in soft earthy ground.

[Mintstorm]

"Why don't you put your prey where me and Streampaw's catches are." Mintstorm flicked her tail to the hidden fresh-kill stored in the holes in the mountain and covered by giant rocks.

[Streamfall]

Streampaw caught up enough speed,sliding in the dirt and landed a heavy paw on the Squirrels tail.Not going to allow it to run off anymore,as it squealed in resistance state.
"Got it!"She calls as she knew she was being observed and pinned it down and killed it to the neck.That was done.Laying in her jaws she put it in the hidden fresh kill pile storage. "Nothing can get past us clever cats!"She purrs. Whoa,Alot of freshkill killings were a quarter full in the holes.Streampaw happily came away from the storage.

[Mintstorm]

Mintstorm tasted for any scent of prey. They had hunted a lot. She wasn't sure if they should continue or no. She glared at the sun, wondering it was going to set soon.
"Is it almost sundown?" Mintstorm asked, turning to look at Streampaw and Sweetpaw.
"If it is, then we better get ready to leave." The young warrior added, her gaze still fixed on the apprentices.

[Streamfall]

"Is it that time already?"Streampaw mews surprisingly how the time past fast.Then she glances at the sun,which bit by bit was almost setting,you could see it beyond the mountains and clouds.Sunset closing in.
Streampaw padded back to the storage then stopped when she was there,"Shall we begin taking these to camp now?" The calico mewed to Mintstorm. There day of hunting was almost done! How relieved she was.

[Mintstorm]

"Sure!" Mintstorm mewed, pushing the rock over.
"Help!"She muttered, plunging into the hole to get out the fresh-kill.

[Streamfall]

"Big enough rock!"Streampaw muffles with laughter,poking her head in and began grabbing the peices of freshkill out ,"This is marvelous!We hunted so much!"Streampaw exclaims.

[Mintstorm]

"Yep!" She dragged herself lower and scooped another pawful of fresh-kill. When the hole was empty, she wiped some of the prey's fur off her paws.
"We have to clean out the hole filled with fish!" Mintstorm reminded her friend. She pushed over the rock, and hauled 2 salmons out of the hole.

[Sweetpetal]

Sweetpaw picked up her catch and through muffled fur she mewed "That was great!If hunting was this much fun we should go battle training tomorrow!!!!". Padding through the trees towards camp she thought "do these cats think of me as a friend?" She hoped so.

[Mintstorm]

"Can you hold these?" Mintstorm took out a mouthful of fresh-kill, then went back in the hole to hold some. When the hole was empty, she felt like getting one more piece of fresh-kill.
"Hey, um, you guys can leave without me. I want to do something. I'll be back before nightfall." Mintstorm called over her shoulder, trotting away, aware of prey.

[Streamfall]

StreamPaw getting the other prey,her favorite,was fish out of the hole wrapped in leaves.There she had was all she could carry as much prey as she could. Streampaw nodded in response to Mintstorm and watch her go off.
Battle training?Now that did sound fun.But with prey she held she couldn't respond right away.She caught up with Sweetpaw.Now it looks like they were heading back to camp. Still Streampaw had to come back in territory to pick up the other load of prey.

[Mintstorm]

Mintstorm first helped her friends by taking out all the fresh-kill, but it was still well hidden. Trotting away, she tasted a scent of rabbit. Running after it, she got her claws in the rabbit. She quickly did a death bite before the rabbit could struggle anymore. The warrior dropped it at the hidden prey, and once again went off.

(BTW Apprentice hunting team 1 isn't doing it anymore. If you will look you will see that we only have like 5 posts so, yeah, just telling you guys.)
