Splashfoot stood up and stretched, she had to get out of camp. She bounded through the camp, to its entrance. She nodded to the cat guarding the entrance then slipped through. She stood on a large flat rock that was lightly dusted with frost, and smoothed her chest fur. She had no idea where she was going but she dint want to look like a mess. She jumped down from the rock, leaving four paw prints on its cold surface. She hit the hard ground lightly, like it was soft grass rather than frozen ground. Her strong leg muscles flexed as she padded through her territory. She mouth was slightly open and her ears alert. She was hungry and since she wasn't on a patrol, she could hunt and eat. Hmmm, smells like ground squirrel. She crouched down swiftly and followed the scent until she saw the squirrel, she pounced and landed perfectly. She killed the animal quickly then picked it up and let her feet carry her until she came to the Shared Clearing. Oh...I guess ill eat this here. She laid on the ground and tucked into the squirrel.

One of the kits, sadly, has no voice. Harrowingpride is still fussing over taking her herbs. I'm assuming you know that Spiritstar retired and died, correct?" He choked out those last words. In truth, Afterlife had never liked Beechstar, even when he was a warrior. Spiritstar was a better leader. Afterlife thought shortly. That is the end of it. He looked to Splashfoot.
Afterlife supposed Splashfoot was a very attractive cat. Her soft, yet piercing blue eyes struck everyone like a claw to the head. Much like Afterlife's eyes. Her gray pelt glowed silver in the moonlight, and Splashfoot looked as if she had recently encountered a stray storm. Her fur was slick and shiny, glittering in some places. Much like Afterlife's eyes, hers glowed brightly in the dim moonlight. "I'm glad I ran into you. Well, not literally. It seems as if the war has split the Clans apart. We should be allies. Not enemies. Don't they realize that when we bleed, we bleed the same blood? The same heritage passed down from Ice, Tree, Rock, and Fire. And they were friends, as I recall. I swear, as soon as CloudClan realizes this, they will forget all about this kind of thing." Afterlife nodded in self-satisfaction at his insight. He looked back to the sky, and made a silent plea to CloudClan; Please. If you can hear me, help us achieve harmony.

Splashfoot looked up from her half eating meal. The TreeClan cat named Afterlife was standing before her. She swallowed a mouthful of prey before speaking. "Greetings, Splashfoot! How is RockClan?" ”Hello Afterlife. RockClan is doing well. And TreeClan?” She took another swift bite of her meal, and then it was gone. She licked her muzzle clean of scraps then dug a shallow hole and pushed the bones into it. She covered it up like her dirt then sat down on her haunches. She licked her fore-paw and carefully looked at Afterlife. She had seen him at gatherings before, but she had never really talked to him before. She shook out her fur and relaxed her muscles. ”It's so nice to be out of camp...I hardly ever get out. Kits are a paw-full.” She let out a purr, then laughed softly. ”Better than a two-leg nest though..Those places are terrible. How any cat chooses to live like that is impossible.” She blinked her crystal clear blue eyes, and fluffed her fur out against the cold. Its light gray color looked like silver moonlight, the flecks of darker fur on her paws and her tail tip stood out against the light fur. In the moon light it made it seem as if she ran through a body of water and hadn't yet dried her fur. ”I'm sorry...I'm talking to much again...arnt I?” Her ears flicked as she tilted her head slightly to the left. She was a small cat, so she was use to being looked at as a sort of annoyance.

Splashfoot hung her head in hearing that Spiritstar had died, she knew that the she-cat had retired but not died. Her mother had know the cat and it saddened her. She lifted her head and sighed. "I'm sorry to hear that Spiritstar was a great leader." Her eyes glinted in the moonlight but she closed them quickly. No one knew who her mother was, only she did. She was lucky to have the build of a RockClan cat or else someone might figure it out. I swear, as soon as CloudClan realizes this, they will forget all about this kind of thing." Afterlife's voice rang in her head. She realized that the Clans did bleed the same blood, that we share the same ancestors. She opened her mouth and began to speak, rows of white teeth glinted in the moonlight. "Your right...But it also comes down to Clan heritage...You must remember. If you are not born into that Clan, your different. Your not better than the Clan your fighting." Her voice was tinged with hurt, and a little bit of defense. She bent her head and began to lick her chest, she was slightly nervous. She let to much emotion move into her voice when speaking about clan heritage. She sat up and looked at him calmly. "But as you said I am also glad I ran into you, on a beautiful night like this it would be wasted if I was alone." She purred in a friendly manor. Afterlife was a handsome cat his long white fur glowing in the moonlight, and his blue eyes just as striking as her own. Their pelts slick and well groomed, his smelling of a TreeClan warrior. Hers smelling of a RockClan queen. Even though she only had one litter, she still nursed and cared for the kits or other queens along with the ones who's mother had died in her kitting and left a kit or two on their own.
