(I got the idea for this while chatting with "someone" on an inactive website. Hope you like it.
Oh yeah, and all websites and site companies are completely fictional, and do not exist. They only exist in this story, and this story alone. Plus; I don't really think the characters in this story are alive. This is something not to be taken seriously.)
Cinderstar yawned and stretched. Time to start the day. She padded out of that profile she slept in (wretchedly uncomfortable whenever her owner chose a signature picture that took up enough space to fit; but enough to squeeze her), and looked up at the sideboards. They read:
StormClan:
Status: Good
Currently: Peaceful
Health: Thriving
Leader: Cinderstar
Deputy: Robinfeather
Medicine Cat: Snowfrost, Mapleflower
Queens: Cloverheart, Ravenspirit, Peachmoon
MarshClan:
Status: Fair
Currently: Peaceful
Health: Good
Leader: Acornstar
Deputy: Barkpelt
Medicine Cat: Dewheart, Echobreeze
Queens: Fernspirit, Mistflower, Sparrowflight
SunClan:
Status: Good
Currently: Peaceful
Health: Excellent
Leader: Willowstar
Deputy: Birdsong
Medicine Cat: Sootblaze, Cloudwing
Queens: Duskwhisper, Splashpool, Ivyblaze
StoneClan:
Status: Fair
Currently: Peaceful
Health: Fair
Leader: Oakstar
Deputy: Thymespirit
Medicine Cat: Leafbreeze, Foxclaw
Queens: Swanfeather, Juniperheart, Barkstripe
GoreClan:
Status: Good
Currently: Plotting
Health: Fair
Leader: Gore
Deputy: Velvet
Cinderstar frowned. Hailey hadn't updated the sideboards; the plot with GoreClan was already over and GoreClan's "Currently" should have been simply "Peaceful," to indicate the ending of the plot.
But...Hailey hadn't been on for a while.
Her mind raced. How long hadn't she been on? She hadn't logged on since...
Since three months ago.
Cinderstar froze. She raced back to her profile and read the part where it said when the user had last logged in. It read:
"January 1, 2015"
What? She read it again. Hailey; the all-knowing admin of A Warrior's World, had been inactive for...two months? How come Cinderstar hadn't realized this earlier?
Well, she probably had been too busy wandering around the site to notice how little her owner logged on. But; either way...why wasn't Hailey active?
Was it the same with the other cats?
Cinderstar jumped down the screen and looked at the part where it said how many users were online and how many users had been on in the past 24 hours.
There were no members, and about 4 guests.
She started to panic. Cinderstar raced to the StormClan sideboard and jumped on the name "Robinfeather," landing as hard as she could. With a click, she felt herself whirling, and then she found herself standing in Robinfeather's profile.
The pale gray tabby she-cat pointedly wrinkled her nose as she realized Robinfeather had gorged too much on his snacks again. And then she spotted the lazy tom; snoozing in the icon box, curled up in a tight ball.
"WAKE UP YOU LAZY SLOB! PEACHMOON'S ON THE RAMPAGE AND SHE'S GOING TO RIP YOUR THROAT OPEN!" Cinderstar screeched; knowing the perfect way to wake him up.
It worked, of course. He leaped into the air with a terrified yell. "AAHHHH! NONONONONO! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! RUN FOR YOUR---" He fell with a thud; right flat on his face. Then he got up, rubbing it grumpily, and then he saw who had woken him up.
"Oh, it's you." The dark brown tom stretched and then sat down, before nibbling on a spare Dorito.
Cinderstar knocked the Dorito out of his paw. "PAY ATTENTION! Hailey hasn't been on for two months! When was the last time your Twoleg logged on?! AND QUIT GOING TO THE DORITOS SITE TO GET DORITOS!"
"But I like Doritos." Robinfeather pouted childishly.
"I DON'T GIVE A FOX DUNG, YOU (CENSORED)!" Cinderstar shouted in exasperation at the sheer idiocy of her deputy. "WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOUR IDIOT TWOLEG LOGGED ON?!"
Robinfeather paused. "Well...I think..." He looked over at his profile. "Oh yeah, five weeks ago."
"FIVE WEEKS?!" Okay, so that wasn't as bad as two months. But it was still bad.
"Yeah, why?"
"HAILEY HASN'T BEEN ON FOR TWO MONTHS!"
"...well..."
"WHAT'S SO 'WELL'?!"
"I don't know."
"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT?!"
"...I don't know."
"AARGH! SOMETIMES I WONDER WHY I MADE YOU DEPUTY!"
"Actually, Hailey chose my Twoleg; Rob, to have his character be deputy; and I'm his character."
"WHATEVER!" Cinderstar huffed furiously. "But honestly! Why is everyone's owners going inactive?"
"It's only Hailey and Rob that went inactive," Robinfeather said. "We can ask everyone else."
"Fine; I'll hold a Clan meeting."
"In RP or OOC?"
"OUT OF CHARACTER, YOU DIMWIT! WHAT ELSE?"
"Okay, okay! Geez!"
So, do you like it so far? Please let me know; and you can submit your own characters; if you want.

A Warrior's World
Like many sites made from NetBoards; it was a Warrior Cats RPG. It was fun, and gained members quickly over the years, and the staff was friendly and the site was flourishing. Plots galore sprang; and hands typed out words, words that brought characters to life.
But...like all sites; A Warrior's World eventually began to die down after five full years. Its' activity slowed, and there were less and less recent posts than there had been before. The number of guests' activity began to exceed the number of members'. The RP characters began to slow down; their activeness in their creators' stories started to freeze and move only as if frame by frame.
And at last; it stopped. No one went on the site anymore. The admin; Hailey, had just graduated from high school, and was no longer able to squeeze site running into her activities. Going away to college; she neglected her site.
And when she did; slowly, very slowly, everyone else began to neglect the site.
After five long years of fingers on keyboards; typing out the stories of their characters and posting things and having fun in the OOC boards as well as the RP ones...the site was gone. Dead. The life was snuffed out of it like a candle that had burned too long and was now a melted stump of wax.
But...what happened to the RP characters; whose owners had neglected them and discontinued their stories?
