Poem writing is not easy

Hey guys this also explains my absense all last week and the weekend, well all week I was bed ridden with larangitis(however you spell it?) I had a fever and everything it was terrible. The weekend I was in Fresno for a wrestling tournament so yah. No internet in our hotel.

So I wrote a poem and I want opinions, I didn't want to put this in the writing board because...well its sort of abandoned and this would just go unnoticed.

Breaking my heart

You played me
Lied to me
Told me I was beautiful
Promised not to hurt me
When really
She was the one you liked
The real pretty one
The one you told the truth too
The girl that you would never hurt
You put me through so much
All to just break my heart
I stuck around even when I doubted you
All my friends tried to warn me
They were so right about you
I was the wrong one
I waited for someone who was never there
Seeing you everyday will hurt so much
But guess what
I’m over it
Over you
Over everything you put me through
I won’t look at you
Talk to you
Even think about you
Because I would just be breaking my heart…

Opinions? Oh and also this has my absense explanation in it and I can't be on long enough to make a seperate thread.
