Moonkit trotted into the apprentices den. She looked in. Then she peered out of the den looking for her friends to tell she she was going to be an apprentice soon. She wanted to have the perfect mentor.

Runningfeet a young black and white warrior licked her paw by the fresh kill pile. She had just had a nice lunch and was bored. As she looked away from her paw cleaning she saw her old nuresry friend Moonkit. The young warrior smiled and padded over to her "Hello Moonkit" the she-cat said with a warm smile.

Moonkit spun around and looked at Runningfeet. "Hi!" she mewed happily. "And that will be Moonpaw soon!" she mewed with excitment.

Runningfeet smiled "Oh is that so" the black and white warrior gave Moonpaw a lick on the ear.
