`Rowanpaw watched the two apprentices and padded over to Solarpaw. "Hi, i'm Rowanpaw! Solarpaw, right?" he mewed, purring at the thought of two new apprentices, and one he knew very well.
"Hello Brightpaw, it's good to see you out of the nursery!" he purred, brushing flanks with her. "Have you two got mentors then?" he asked politely.

"No. Darkheart and Poisonclaw slept in here together for a long while after they were announced warriors." Rowanpaw objected. He didn't care about being a warrior, he just wanted to be with Brightpaw. "But hey, we don't even have to worry about that yet!" he mewed a little louder, and more cheerful in tone.
