Bluewish padded by the apprentices den when he heard his name, he pked his head in and saw dawnpaw (my apprentice..?) and heard them talking about hunting "ill come too!" he purred with amusement

bluewish looked down at sunpaw in suprise "are you STIL an apprentice?!" he asked, she had been an apprentice for a while now.

(I think you're my mentor) "Don't be harsh," Dawnpaw said with a smile. "She's really good at hunting." She added with a sigh, Dawnpaw wished she could hunt better. "Where should we hunt?" The young apprentice was determinded to become a better hunter.

there are usuall lots of rabbits and birds near the fireclan border" bluewish looked around the den, it seemed like so long ago that he had slept in here

Dawnpaw licked her lips, she loved rabbits and birds. "That sounds great! But I'll have to be extra carful," she said with a thoughtful look, "I haven't memorized all of the clan scents." With a nervous look and said, "Make sure you're keeping an eye on me, just incase I cross the border."

"You'll be fine"!vineleg looked down at dawnpaw then up again."well,let's go"!vineleg started to trot out of camp.she started jumping branch to branch.she could smell lark!vineleg saw it pecking at a dead butterfly."123...",whispered vineleg.she pounced at the lark.it started to fly away.vineleg picked up speed and bit the larks neck."thank cloudclan for this lark"."it gave it's life to feed the clan cats".sence she was so close to came she just ran back and put it on the pile."that was such a messy catch!"vineleg spit out some feathers.she had a feather stuck to her nose and stuck into the long tuft of gray fur hanging on her four head.that tuft covered one of her eyes.vineleg smiled.she so felt silly.

"My turn."Said Dawnpaw, quietly. She hopped to the ground from a tree she was sitting in, and sniffed for rabbit. Nothing, "I can't smell anything..." thought Dawnpaw, quietly juging herself, "I gotta smell something, " she opened her mouth to taste the air, "Rabbit!" she thought, happy to have found something. Dawnpaw followed the sent, making sure not to cross the border, and found it leading into a clearing where she saw the rabbit. She carfuly approced it, slowly putting one paw infront of another, and pounced. Bitting the rabbit and bit it's neck. As Vineleg had done. Dawnpaw let out a yowl of triumph, "Yay! I got something!" then thinking," Waitasec, how am I gonna bring this back to camp?"

"are you going to burie your prey?""that was a great catch!"vineleg wasnt surprised at the young apprentices fast movements.dawnpaw had strong legs like herself but the apprentices legs would never be as long as vineleg's legs.vineleg was well born with superly long legs.that made her good at running,climbing and jumping.She looked at sunpaw."after dawnpaw buries her prey we shall have a contest!""this will be a hunting contest.""we can only use the basic moves!""so sunpaw,no advance hunting moves!""you apprentices need to get 6pieces of prey and bring them over to bluewish and I at this very spot."vineleg glanced at bluewish.she new he was quit distant from her sence the break up.but this was for the apprentices!"bluewish is this okay with you"?vineleg looked at the ground as she asked the question.

Bluewish looked at vineleg. He knew why he loved her, secretly he wanted her back. But he knew she would never forgive him. These thoughts put him in a bad mood. "yeah sure whatever, dawnpaw I want you to know something about rabbits, the shape of their eyes mean that they can see forewards and back at the same time" he juumped into a tree "have fun" he wraped his tail around his paws and watched.

"they can see forewards and back at the same time..." Dawn silently quoted. She would have to be quieter, and come at an angle or something. "OK, let's start. Vineleg, could you count us off? (I dunno if cats can really do that) Or do you want us just to go?" Dawnpaw was excited and wanted to start NOW.
