"Fanks!" Dawnpaw said gratefully, putting down some of her kill. There was no way she could go on like that without exausting herself.

Bluewish chuckled and picked up a vole and rabbit, The lithe apprentice wouldnt make it with both rabbits, they probabily weighed more than she did. He chuckled to himself again
"Lets go."

''Lets head back.'' Sunpaw said in a muffled voice, ''I can't carry this for much longer.''

Bluewish headed back to camp, his haunches and flanks growing wet as a drizzle began to drip from the canopy of trees

''Oh crud. The prey will get soggy.'' Sunstrike said.

(I'll be on all the time now that I'm back home from vaca') "groan, I hwate wa rain..." Dawnpaw said through her catch.

''Lets hurry, before the prey gets to heavy.'' Sunstrike said starting to drag her from the weight.

"I dwof neff hwelp!" Dawnpaw muttered, trying to go faster, but her catch was already soaked. After a tail length or two, she admitted, "Ofway," She said dropping yet more of her kill, "You fwan help. Then fwe wan get their faster." Dawnpaw desided that being dry was more important now than showing off to an older clanmate.

''I'll take some.'' Sunstrike said, picking up some of her prey Dawnpaw had put down. Then she kept padding on toward the camp.

Bluewish moaned as the rain poured down on his silver tabby fur, turning it the color of granite.
'C'mon, hurry!" he called, he didnt need to see as he sped along, he knew this part of the forest well.
"Follow me, dont worry about crashing, i know the way!" he called over his shoulder, his fur plastered to his body

"I won't crash! Now that I'm not carrying as much. Thanks Sunstrike!" Dawnpaw said, annoyed at Bluewish. She was great at memorizing the forest, it came to her easily. Lost in her thoughts, she tripped over a rock, and stumbled.
Regaining her footing, she noticed that she had fallen behind a fox-length or two. Dawnpaw quickened up, wishing she had just listened.
Paying more attention now, she leaped around and caught up. Neither cats seemed to have noticed that she had tripped, but it didn't matter, they were nearly at camp, right?
Dawnpaw suddenly didn't know where they were. "Have we strayed from the path because of the rain? What will happen if we got lost?" she thought in doubt, but pushed the questions away, "If we are lost, then at least we're together."

Sunstrike raced along, despite her heavy load. ''Where are we?'' Sunstrike asked, squinting. Yet she still ran on, even not knowing where she was. She trusted Bluewish.

"I dunno," Dawnpaw wimpered, she trusted Bluewish too, but, she couldn't help but be worried.

Bluewish felt the worry coming off the she cats in waves, it caught on
"Maybe i dont knwo"
he thought.
He sighed in releif as the entrance came into sight
'Were here" he called back, releived that they werent acctually lost.
He whipped into the camp, soaked.
Dropping his prey into the freshkill pile he turned to his apprentice
"Next time, spend less time arguing with me and more time acctually watching the path" he mewed, not angry, but warnign.
"I have been in this forest longer than the both of you, please, When i get lost, then you can judge me, but not untill"
He mewed, the anger was hinted in his voice, but it didnt take over as he padded into the warriors den
"Ill see you guys tomorrow!" he called from the entrance.

"Ok! See ya!" Dawnpaw was just happy to be home.
