Lotuspaw padded into the apprentice's den for the first time. This place is much larger than the nursery, she commented silently. The creamy brown she-cat shuffled around the ground, looking for a place to sleep. She grasped some disused moss from the floor, and proceeded to make a nest for herself. Lotuspaw chose a place nearer the walls of the den; only the senior apprentices were to sleep near the center. She settled down in her new nest, and lay there, thinking about how her new life as an apprentice would be.

"Hi!" Dawnpaw said, padding over "So you're a new apprentice too, huh? I set up my nest over there, a night or two ago." she added, flicking her tail toward a small bundle of moss a little bit away. "Glad you're a new apprentice too, maby we can train together!" The young cat added with a kind, shy smile. She was on the small side, but seemed to be growing my the second. But that was probubly just her fluffy fur.

Lotuspaw left her thoughts as another apprentice padded over and said something. "Hello", she meowed, "I'm Lotuspaw. And you are?" Lotuspaw got up from her nest and sat beside Dawnpaw. Finally, another apprentice!, the creamy brown she-cat thought in her head.

Happy to meet another friendly cat, Dawnpaw proudly explained, "Hee hee, I'm shy sometimes. Sorry." She explained, this time trying to be her louder tomboyish self, "I'm Dawnpaw. Wanna go hunting or something sometime?" Proud of herself, she thought, 'Yay! Now I have another friend!' Dawnpaw was always happy for another buddy to hunt and play-fight with.

Lotuspaw nodded and meowed, "Do you want to go hunting now? I could use the excersize after being stuck in here for the whole day." The Siamese apprentice began padding toward the entrance of the den. She sat down, waiting for Dawnpaw's answer.

"Sure! Let's go ask if we can join a hunting patrol." Dawnpaw said happily, but still wanting to have permission first.

"Ok, then we should go over to the warrior's den and see if any warriors are available", Lotuspaw replied, padding outside. She squinted her bright blue eyes until they adjusted to the harsh light. The creamy brown apprentice proceeded to pad toward the warrior's den.
(Started a new thread called 'Need a warrior for hunting' in the warrior's den board.)
