Amberkit limped into the medicine den. "Firestorm? Waterheart? I have a thorn stuck in my pad! Can you please get it out?" She called with her sweet little kitten voice.

Clovergaze had heard Amberkit's mewling and stepped into the medicine den. "Amberkit? Are you alright?" She asked softly, not trying to upset the kit. "I'm sure Waterheart and Firestorm will come as soon as possible, okay, Amberkit?" She stared sightlessly into Amberkit's amber eyes.

Amberkit sniffled and looked at Clovergaze. She noticed her eyes looked... different. "Okay. Can you see?" She asked, trying not to upset the young warrior.

Clovergaze replied calmly, for she was used to being asked this question now, "Well, no. I was born blind, but I still made a warrior. It's fun! And I bet you can't wait either!" She tried to keep Amberkit's mind off the thorn while the medicine cats came. (hopefully)
