Swiftwish was having kits, it was a hard birth. The pain was almost too much. Then, she heard the mewling of two kits!
“They’re wonderful, Swiftwish.” congratulated Silentstep, the Medicine cat who had helped release the kits from the womb. “If only he could be here.”
Swiftwish closed her eyes in sorrow, Redstorm… her mate had died recently in a battle. “What genders?” she choked.
“One tom and one she. My, this one looks like she’s shining and the tom looks like a Leaf fall leaf!”
Leaf and Shining…

“Sunblaze, how are they?” Venomstar asked his medicine cat.
She sighed, “Swiftwish’s birth was a success and the warriors are healing.”
“And Starclan?”
“Remains silent, Venomstar.”
The pair stared up into the sky, Silverpelt glittering above them.
Sunblaze gasped as she began to have a vision, A leaf shaped like a heart and a tide that appeared to shine.
“What’s wrong?” Venomstar asked.
“StarClan has sent a message, ‘The heart of the leaf and the shining tide shall flodd the Clans and shake it to its roots.”
“What?!” Venomstar protested. “That is the last thing we need!”
“I do not control the prophecies of StarClan, Venomstar.”
“Then, we are doomed?”
“This prophecy may have a different meaning, Venomstar…It may not mean what you think.”
~2 moons later~
A dark brown she-kit mewled softly as she opened her celestial-blue eyes, she shot up, falling to her face. She sat up and looked around, "Ne? Where are all the other kits? WAS I LEFT BEHIND?!"
“Good morning, Shiningkit.” Greeted a dusky-gray tom with amber eyes.
“Oh, um, morning, Leafkit.” Shiningkit replied to her brother sheepishly.
Leafkit laughed and ran outside the nursery.
“Ne? Wait for me!” Shiningkit raced after him.
A white she-kit was outside the nursery, her green eyes gazing around the camp, looking for a friend to play with. Maybe we could play moss ball, she thought, Or maybe Clans! She started to wash her white fur to pass the time. Maybe that would help to get a new friend. After all, nobody wants a dirty friend.
Leafkit walked over. "Hey who are you? And would you like to play with me? I’m Leafkit."
"Can I play?" a silver tabby with bright blue eyes chirped excitedly. “I’m Frozenkit.”
“Sure! What do you want to play?” Leafkit blinked kindly.
Shiningkit looked hesitantly at the group of kits, unsure if she should just walk up to them and ask them to play. Ugh, she hated how she always over-reacted. Just go over and ask if you can play. She scolded herself lightly.
Leafkit padded up to his sister, Shiningkit. “Hi, Shiningkit. Do you want to play?”
Shiningkit turned to Leafkit, and said shyly, "I'd love to."
To herself she thought, YAY! They asked ME, I didn't ask THEM!
Frozenkit stuck her tail up in the air, and crouched down, suddenly she pounced at Leafkit and held her down wondering what Leafkit would do next. "I'm a warrior!" She mewoed playfully.
Shiningkit grinned at Frozenkit, "Yeah? Well, I'm the best of them all!" Shiningkit tackled Frozenkit mischeviously.
He pawed both of them to the ground nuzzling his sister and grabbing Frozenkit by the scruff then spinning her in circles."I think I am the best. Shiningkit, stand back me and Frozenkit got something to do!"
"Ooh, DOUBLE TEAM!" Shiningkit laughed and quickly nipped Frozenkit's tail. She crowed, “SHINE!” And she charged randomly, not really caring who she 'attacked.'
“Who are you, anyways?” Cloudkit asked.
"Shiningkit, future warrior of RockClan, believe it!" Shiningkit puffed out her chest proudly. Then, she remembered modesty, "Oh, and it's very nice to meet you, Cloudkit."
Shiningkit began to say something but was interrupted by a loud, Growwwwl....!
Shiningkit coughed embarrassedly, "Guess I'm hungry."
"Go get some fresh kill Shiningkit." Leafkit laughed.
Shiningkit ran to get some fresh-kill, then returned, "Share this mouse with me!" she mewed in a commanding tone. Shiningkit coughed embarrassedly, she didn't mean to make it sound like that.
Leafkit chuckled and sat next to his sister and ate the mouse with her.
