A young kit with a flaming colored pelt padded out of the nursery. She feel over a root. She was half -blind and half-deaf so she didn't see the huge root sticking out of the ground."Stupid root," she muttered under her breath. She was so bored. Maybe go and play with some of the kits, or go listen to an elder's story. She didn't know what to do at all.
Her name was Gracekit. She was sweet and kind and caring to the younger kit's. She yawned. She was also extremely tired. She decided to go and sun herself in her favorite spot in the camp. She padded over to the side of the nursery to sun herself. Her flaming colored pelt looked beautiful in the sunlight and her sapphire blue eyes sparkled. She felt so relaxed that she never wanted to get up ever again.

Elmkit was probally more blind by his love for Iceclan than anything. When he found this mockery, a spider, he yowled "This spider will harm Iceclan more more!" Then, the batted the spider into a melting patch of snow. Satisfied, Elmkit stretched; standing where a ray of sunlight was. He was quite suprised there was still this magical thing called snow around despite the warm weather. He touched the snow and it sent a shiver through his brown and black striped pelt. He thought 'Berr that is cold!' He stretched lazily once more and then he curled up into a ball in his nest, happy as can be.

A tiny kit woke up in her mother's nest. She yawned and padded out of the nursery. She looked around the clearing. She saw no one in the clearing, then she looked at the sun. It was just starting to rise. Opps, she got up a little early. She saw cats that were going on the dawn patrol just walking out of their dens. She looked back at the nursery. Should she go back in? she thought. She decided to stay out there, cats would be waking up soon anyway. she just stood there waiting for her mother to come and joim her.
Her name was Leafkit. She was a shy, but very sweet kit who loved the early morning air. She didn't have many friends, do to her being so shy. Her crystal blue eyes shined in the morning light. She started to clean her fur, while the sun just rose higher in the sky.

Spiritkit sat in the corner of the nursery. It was night time in Iceclan and she padded outside. She loved the moonlight and the quietness. It comforted her. She looked up at the moon. It was beautiful. She didn't understand why night couldn't be day and day couldn't be night. She sighed a long sigh. Probably a lot of cats wouldn't like it, but she would. Maybe she would mostly go on night time patrols instead of the daytime ones. That would be nice, she thought to herself. Her white patch sparkled under the moonlight. The only thing you could see was the white patch and it looked like a mask. She was like a masked spirit. The spirit of the night.

Melodykit blinked open her bright green eyes, and saw the sunlight flooding into the nursery. Feeling hyper and energetic, she got up and padded out of her warm nest, looking for something to do. Sniffing around, she saw a large spider crawling around the den. Part of her water to run away in terror, and yet part of her was curious. She sat down and snagged one of the spider's legs on her claw, and started to play with it.
Soon, the little spider began to crawl up her leg, and the tickling sensation scared Melodykit, making her shake the spider off her leg. In her fear, she stomped on top on the spider, killing it. Melodykit sighed, regretting her impulsiveness. She had felt like she lost a playmate. Her head held low, Melodykit sat down, waiting for another playmate to come by.

Flurry sat alone in the den grooming her soft white pelt. She did that when she wanted to take her mind off of things. Things like being the new kit and having no friends were her current problems. To be honest, it truly was unfair that she was like a loner when surrounded by the others.
Prior to this new odd lifestyle, she was what the forest cats called a 'Kittypet.' Transitioning to clan life was traumatic for a kit her age. She had lost her mother and her siblings. She hadn't really cared about her father. Frankly, it was because he never was around.
The moon was high in the night sky lighting up the darkness of the night. A vehicle was rumbling down a bridge not so often used in the country. Three mewling kittens sat in separate bags inside a worn cardboard box on the passenger side. One of those kits had been Flurry.
The noise stopped and so did the car in the middle of the bridge. The driver, a man about the age of thirty five, got out and slammed the door behind him. The air was tense. Where were they going next?
He came over to the passenger side, grabbed the box, and thew the whole thing into the river. He quickly returned to his beat up pick up and sped off..
Flurry shook. She wanted to forget, but it seemed all too impossible.
A few days ago, a small, damp kitten showed up in Iceclan camp. In her deep blue eyes was pure terror. She needed to find her siblings. They took her to their leader, one called Wildstar. The noble leader took pity upon the kit and allowed her to stay. She was to keep the name Flurry until further notice. She was to be assigned a mother, on of which she had never met, and she was to deal with it. She didn't want another mother, she wanted her mother.
Flurry curled up in a ball and closed her eyes as she tried to escape the horrors of reality.

The long black she-cat took a tremendous breath in, her whole body puffing up in size from the air pressure. She'd show everyone what a real warrior could do! With another breath she released all she had, all she could muster into that roar. "ROAR!" she yowled at the camp. Her eyes closed, her body trembled, the frail cat blown back from the roar. Seemed she had scared herself! Yellowkit, her yellow eyes shining as she looked forward for the lucky cat who had experienced such an amazing feat! Her excitement though, had turned to disappointment as no cat was seen. "Hey! Come on guys don't joke like that." she called out hopefully. And yet no kits ran out laughing, no warrior poked there head to glare at her, nothing but a small black insect. Wait, insect? Turning over, she stood up, her head swiveling this way and that for the bug she had seen. She felt her tail tickle slightly, she growled threateningly before launching her body behind her, claws unsheathed. A spider crawled before her onto her tail. "Hey! You can't be there, that is mine!" she complained blowing on it to make it tumble backwards. Yellowkit turned her body to face the small creature, it lay on it's back desperately trying to fix itself. "Poor thing." she purred sympathetically. The black kit held out a paw as it latched onto her and crawled up her forearm. "Let's take you home shall we?" she said cheerfully. Her yellow eyes scavenged the camp for life besides the spider and her. "Alright!" she meowed. She knew there was a rock a few paces next to the nursery, he could live there for now. Yellowkit had found the rock; the spider seemed happy, crawling around and already constructing a web. Yellowkit gave a curt nod and turned round, "See ya around!" she called over her shoulder.

Oceankit sat in the nursery, his eyes wondering among the giant den, or what seemed giant to him. He stood up and batted at a strange object dangling from the ceiling, a little creature with eight legs and eight eyes. Horrified, Oceankit backed away, then went back to the ugly thing. He batted at it, and it dropped from the ceiling. "Sorry!" He meowed, but the ugly thing seemed ok. "Maybe we can be friends?" He asked it. The thing looked as if it was listening, then it climbed onto his paw. Oceankit watched as it crawled onto his shoulder, and both of them were staring into each other's eyes. "I didn't know you could have eight eyes," Oceankit spoke up. The thing tilted its head, as if to say, 'I didn't know you could have two eyes.' Oceankit smiled and let the thing climb onto his muzzle. Then he bent down and let it climb to the ground. The thing looked up at him, and Oceankit reached out a paw. The thing reached out a leg and the two touched paws and weird leg thingies. It must've been a symbol of friendship. Oceankit smiled again. "We'll we great friends."

Theme: Need.... Symmetry...
A small black kit opened both eyes at once. If he had only opened one, the golden rule would be broken. Because symmetry is perfection. He flashed a frown on his lips, as he saw the imperfection of this pig-sty. Nests arranged without care, probably just tossed around without a single thought to the matter. "Absolutely disgusting."
(Very short, sorry.)

Icekit looked up at the huge rock. She didn't know how to climb, but she wanted to. Before, she fell and the memory flooded her mind. "I'll do it!" she exclaimed. She scrabbled up and, next thing she knew, she was panting at the top. The view was beautiful up there. She saw lots of cats in the clearing meowing to each other and sharing tongues.

brightkit opened her eyes to a bright warm sun,she was laying closely beside her mother,Rosedapple. She was beautiful, espesally with the sun shining on her pretty coat.Brightkit was a grey tabby with green eyes, she is very playful and clumsy, but overall is very freindly.she walked out of the nursery, steching and yawning.she looked into the sky, wishing that she could chase and catch the birds. She put her paw up in the air and batted at the air, pretending she was catching the bird. She leaned back a little and fell backwards, then she terned on her side, letting the sun fill her with warth.the sun's warth put her into a peaceful trance, making her more and more tierd. She curled up into a ball, slowly falling asleep.

Poisonkit looked around ther nursery a bored look on his face. With a small grunt he lifted himself up. his blue/purple eyes looked around trying to find something to do. He looked down at his dull grey pelt. Poisonkit sighed he had really large fang like teeth that made it a bit difficult to talk.
A big SNAP brought him out of his horrid thoughts. With a scared look on his face he turned around but nothing was there. He turned around but once again the snap sounded again. he turned around but nothing was there it was just his paranoid mind. turning around again he heard it. with a angry frown he turned around again. "what are sou?" he said again his speach problem kicking in. He looked asgain and this time spotted it again. It was just a small wind making a tree tap against the nursery wall. [/color]

I had stumbled around for a while. I'd never had thought I would have been able to hear without my sight, then again, I hadn't thought being blind at birth was normal. I knew something was different the day I felt the surroundings change, the smell of a delicious thing my mother provided me, the shrieks of playing kits and groans of birthing mothers.
I didn't want to be alone. But I had guessed seeing was the key to being able to go " outside " into " the camp ". This place was warm and crowded, something I hadn't favored until i'd left the place. I remember trying to talk, but sputters only coming out. I'd picked up the phrases, " Hello " and " Stop biting my ear ! " but hadn't truly learned the meanings. It was this day that I learned what things meant, " Hello " was a greeting, " Goodbye " was like.. an ex-greeting. She-cats got happy when you say, " You look pretty, " Toms liked when you said something good about their hunting skills. My mother told me this was called a ' compliment '. With this information and my newly-learned proper conduct, I truly thought I was ready for anything. And when my brown eyes opened that warm evening, I believed it more than ever.
