Owlkit sat upon a rock thinking to himself trying to figure out what to do. Sometimes he wished he could just skip kithood and become an apprentice or a warrior, but he can't skip time. As he looked around he saw some other kits playing with some nearby moss. Suddenly he saw a little mouse scurry across the clearing. He looked at it puzzled. Because why would a mouse cross through a clearing full of cats he thought for a long time but eventually gave up and and layed to go to sleep.

goldenkit walked out of her nest and looked around. she saw some kits sleeping and wondering if she should wake them up."Na" she said. she padded out of the nursery. all of the sudden a bright light shined in her eyes! "rawwwwwr!" she meowed. she tumbled forward for it was to bright to handle. she bumped into the other kits playing. she stoped rolling and stood up. she blinked a few time to get used to the light. she felt cold. a shiver went through her. then she realized the all of the kits were staring at her. she felt scared for she knew she was new. "help Shadefrost!!" she wailed and stood there waiting for her mother to come out. the other kits were still staring at her. they all blinked a few times. then started laughing.
she felt sad. and padded away slowly toward the nursery a very silver kit with black dots stopped her from going in.

Looking around the nursery, Thornkit took note of all the other kits in the area. None of them were alone like he was, they were gathering in little clusters together. Talking, playing, laughing and simply enjoying the freedom that youth gave them. To his knowledge, Thornkit was the only kitten to be sitting alone in the nursery. To be alone in such a bustling place was an abnormality in itself and he seemed to shrink further into his tiny body as more and more of the other kits noticed his lack of friends.
With brown and black tabby fur burning, Thornkit watched with apprehension as a small female kit padded up to him from across the nursery. She stopped in front of Thornkit and observed him, her amber gaze sweeping from his quivering tail to his striped head. With a gentle nod she smiled, casting a backwards glance at where the rest of her group were staring at her she looked at Thornkit and grinned widely.
"I know I'm a girl and all, but do you mind if I stay here with you?"
Thornkit mutely shook his head, too shocked by her approach to utter a word. He looked over her shoulder to where her group of friends were whispering together, sometimes shooking sideways glances back at the pair. When they noticed him looking they giggled softly and turned away.
He turned his gaze to the female kit in front of him and smiled shakily. "I don't mind at all. But I think you would fit in better with your friends back there."

He looked out of the Nursery, shaking with excitement and wonder. This would be his first time leaving the nursery, and he wasn't sure what to expect. Some of the older kits said it was a wonderful place outside, with so many cool things to look at, listen to, eat. He was very fond of eating.
One paw was set outside the little opening, sunshine making it lighter than the rest of his mud-colored pelt. Another step, and another, and another. He continued to go out, until he was completely out of the nursery.
At first he simply looked around, holding back so many comments and questions. Then he took everything in. The dens, the prey pile, the grownups. Not too far away he spotted some of the slightly bigger cats, otherwise known as apprentices, sitting outside their den. Farther away he spotted a few warriors sharing a meal outside of the warriors' den.
The camp was huge, and there was much exploring to be done. But he knew in the back of his mind that there was more. An entire territory, and entire world to explore. He knew not much of Iceclan's homeland, or much of the other three clans. But now was the beginning of his story, where he would become a great warrior.
But for now, he would have to wait another five and a half months, which is when he would be given the name Shellpaw, and his own mentor.
(Was that good enough? I could have done more if you wanted, I just figured that would be a good stopping point.)

The little she-cat stretched and stood in her nest. Her fluffy white and gray tabby pelt was ruffled from sleep. She glanced around. All the other kits and queens were still sleeping. She slipped out of the nursery, taking care not to step on any cat. She walked around the camp, memorizing where all the dens were. She darted back into the nursery as the other kits and queens began to stir in their nests.

The dark colored she-cat crouched in the corner of the nursery, watching the other kits play from the shadows. She was uncomfortable around other kits, the silver wing markings on her back and her gold and silver eyes made her stand out. Her golden paws sparkled in the small patch of sunlight that cut through the shadows she was hiding in. She glanced up, a small male kit had taken notice of her. He padded up confidently to her, undaunted by her glittering eyes. "Hey, how come you're hiding back here?" his bright blue eyes studied her carefully. With a sigh, Darkkit stepped out of the shadows, revealing her silver "wings" and her different colored eyes. She glared at him coldy and said, "Because I don't get along well with other kits." He backed away, blue eyes sparking with shock. He was afraid of her, and she knew it. "O-okay," he mewed, then darted back to the other kits. Darkkit disappeared back into the shadows.

"Seems to be a rather delightful morning." Came a casual mew from a small and quaint Russian Blue. He was a fast-thinking cat, with a logical mind and some easily quick words. "Who's there?" He asked plainly, spinning around and sighing a little as his yellow eyes caught nothing out of the usual. I must be hearing things.. The tom thought, flattening his tall ears to the sides of his head. It was a stupid statement, especially for the sharp-minded cat that he was. Of course no-one was there. It was an illusion caused by the casting of the moon's light onto a dead tree branch.

Silverkit padded out of the nursery, careful not to step on any other cats. The full moon shone brightly, thousands of stars dotting the sky around it. She sighed and sat down, curling her tail around her black paws. Her silver tabby fur sparkled in the starlight. She looked around camp, taking in the locations of all the dens. Shaking her head to clear it, she slipped back into the den, hoping no one had noticed her absence. She settled back into her nest and closed her eyes, sinking back into the comforting darkness of sleep.

Dappled sunlight fell through the bramble nursery's roof. The little black and white kit jumped up, squealing, "Hey stop kicking me!", disrupting the whole nursery. A tortoiseshell kit jumped up,too, responding to the other kit, "Was not, Nightkit!" "Was too!" "Was not!" A queen's voice interrupted their bickering. "Hush! You're disrupting the whole nursery!" The two kits looked sheepishly at their feet and mumbled an apology. Then, little Nightkit headed outside. A couple of 'paws stood outside. "Hey, Nightkit!" A tom puffed up his chest."I have an assessment later!" A deep voice spoke up. "Actually, it's right now." It was his mentor. Eyes gleaming, the apprentice followed him out of camp, leaving Nightkit watching him with envy, wondering when she was going to be an apprentice.

Bright light showed through the brambles revealing three tiny kits curled up beside her mothers belly. Morningkit yawned as she woke from her sleep. She blinked her green eyes open as the sunlight hit her fur. She peered outside and looked at the morning sun. "I can't wait till I can go outside and explore....", She mumbled to herself. She stretched her legs as she got up to nurse. She latched her mouth onto her mothers teat and started suckling. Oh how she loved the taste of milk. Sweet, rich, smooth...she could go on forever. She peered through the bramble screen covering the nursery walls. She saw two warriors one apprentice and two kits, older than she was. "Maybe I could go out for a little while....", She said to herself. She was about half way out of the nursery when she heard a voice, "Morningkit! Where do you think you're going?", It was her mother.

Today was the day. Today is the day that Quakekit takes one step closer to being warrior. And that step, is to venture out of the Nursery and throw himself into the middle camp! Suddenly one the queens began to wake. Oh no! If they wake up I'll never escape! He thought to himself, and without a moments delay, dashed for exit!
The dark of the Nursery had not prepared his eyes for such brightness. Ah! The sun! Too...bright! Quakekit snapped his eyes shut and slammed to a halt. "I can do this!" He shouted, slowly opening his eyes, to reveal exactly what he'd been hoping for...

Silverkit laid frustratedly at the back of the nursery. He had tried to escape once, without prevail, and now an eye always seemed to be glued on him. His little legs twitched with anticipation, longing to run out of the nursery, to feel the wind in his fur. Being cooped up in here was torture. He often had the chance to visit with the elders, who filled him up with amazing stories of their warrior glory days, and now Silverkit had grown restless. He wasn't yet ready to become an apprentice, but he knew what kind of amazing adventures awaited him once he was.

The dawn light filled the den. Wetkit blinked her light blue eyes open. A small yawn came out of her mouth. Soft fur comforted her, it was probably her mothers warm body by her. She stretched her small body, another yawn came out of her mouth. Was she that tired? Nah, she was usually energetic and running around the place, but sometimes she's calm. She shook her head a little to wake her up. Now Wetkit was up and running. What should I do today? How about I play a game? Yeah, I think I would like that. She jumped up and down with excitement. But what was she going to play? "How about I play with a ball of moss?" She said quietly to herself. She rolled up a ball of moss and rolled it around and tossed it up in the air. This was fun, well to her.

Early morning light filtered all around the cramped Nursery, the figures of many sleeping kittens and Queens seen very clearly. Some were already rising and one in particular, was Softkit. The she-kit shifted into a comfortable sitting position, her pink tongue already lapping at her ruffled dark grey coat, the soft fur that rolled under her tongue making her giggle as it tickled her only slightly. After what seemed like hours of grooming until it was as neat as she could make it, Soft bounced to her dainty paws and padded out of the den, the sun already peeking out from the mountains that she called home.
With a gentle smile playing upon her lips, she padded to the fresh-kill pile, selecting a deceased mouse as her meal. Being a light eater, the grey kitten didn't eat too much. Dismissing the thoughts away from her still innocent and naive mind, the she-kit wolfed down the mouse, slightly embarrassed as she realizes how fast she had reduced the creature to only its bones and a few other meat she didn't want to devour. Softkit dug a small hole that was just big enough for the remnants of her meal to fit in and swept it over, covering it in a fine layer of dust and snow.
Today, it seemed, was just another of the many happy days little Soft would encounter and the mere thought made her light golden shine with gentle glee.

The small brown tabby she-kit sighed. She felt like a ton of elders had been dropped on her back. She was so bored; she needed a friend.
Her name was Silkykit, courteously used for describing her pelt. Silkykit desperately wanted a friend, but who would be friends with a kit who didn't know the basics of role-playing? Even Littlepool had a comment about her role-playing skills.
Silkykit sighed unhappily. She did not realize that maybe, just maybe, there was someone out there whom she could call a friend.
