Peaceful Heart

Scarlet snow stains the ground
The young girl’s body twitching almost drowned,
Billions of freezing flakes cover her face

She couldn’t believe that she fell
Now she feels life billowing away
But she really wants to stay

Gripping the branch lodged in her chest
The girl tries to heave it out her best
She gave a shaky breath
Blackness starts to swell

All she ever wanted was to be held
Screaming an unheard scream
She gave up and was put to rest.

Dazzling light brighter then day
Lifted her spirit and she flew away.
