Prologue
Moonstar looked at the Jaystar, Applestar, Mintstar, and Halfstar shake their heads. Halfstar was the first to speak "Moonstar your clan will have to leave the forest, Crystalclan has destroyed your territory and wish for you to leave," When he stopped Mintstar took over"they've put four rocks hear for a reason, you must leave." Yowls of agony rose from the clan below, and Jaystar seemed to be the only one who did not like the idea, but he kept silent.
Moonstar looked at the stars above, sighed and turned her head to the leaders"I will leave,"The silver leader paused and waited 'til the shocked murmurs died down"only on one condition. I shall be able to split my clan and who wishes to stay will be able to freely stay in whatever clan they choose."She meowed, all leaders nodded their agreement as the Wetclanners split in half. two out of four elders left, so did one of her three queens, her second queen, Brightlily nudged her small kit's to her sister, Mintstar's clan. Half of her warriors and one of med. cats also fled to another clan.
Moonstar had also requested that all her clan were to be well fed before they left, and they got what they wished for. At moonhigh the gathering split and the Wetclanners got to share tongues for the last time, and two of Applestar's warriors choose to leave with Wetclan, but Hillblaze Wetclan's deputy left. Moorclan, Thistleclan, Leafclan and Snakeclan said goodbye to the leaving clan and quickly separated, all except Jaystar leader of Moorclan wished to leave with Wetclan, and was named the new deputy, and his name was Jayleap.
Morning quickly came and Moonstar's clan left with only 14 members.At 1/2 of there original size, they were off. Bushypelt and Kinckyfate(The queen who gave up her kits) helped Sagefang carry her 3 kits, Rosekit, Icykit and Curlykit, while the eager apprentices,Frostypaw and Faithpaw would nudge Dirtleap and the much older Frailstep, the two elders. Moonstar looked at her clan march onward to the mountains ahead.

Two days later the cats had reached the mountains. They had only lost one cat so far, Frailstep, the poor old cat had been killed by a dog. Moonstar looked around, her deputy Jayleap also looked around. He called to the clan, only to remember he was not a leader anymore.
Chapter 1
Hollystripe, screeching in pain, was delivering her kits. She had fallen over onto her side in the middle of the camp, and the medicine cats had rushed to her side. Hollystripe weakly licked off the wet moss that her mate had brought to her.
“You’ll be fine, Hollystripe, Two kits. One male, and one female.” Ivystreak murmured, while Sunblaze started licking each kit Ivystreak passed to her.
Hollystripe weakly smiled at the tiny kits. “Hawkkit…” She mewed, placing a paw on the dark brown tabby. He had black stripes like her. “Tinykit.” Hollystripe placed a paw on the small, black kit. She mewled.
“They are just perfect.” Her mate, Darksoul meowed. He reached down to lick Hawkkit, affection in his every move. He was twitching with excitement. Suddenly, he meowed, “I need to go outside of camp.” He stopped licking the kit, and raced out.
Hollystripe grinned when she heard his yowls of triumph echo through the forest. He yowled again, and Reedstar raced out of his den, a worried look on his face.
“It’s just Darksoul, Reedstar.” Hollystripe meowed from where she lay. Reedstar nodded and raced back to his den.
Sunblaze dashed off after Reedstar, and Ivystreak picked a kit up in her mouth. “Let’s move you into the nursery.” She meowed.
Hollystripe picked up a kit and raced after Ivystreak to the nursery. Fireleaf was watching eagerly as Applekit squirmed at her belly.
“Two kits!” Fireleaf squeaked. “They are beautiful, Hollystripe!”
“Thanks, Fireleaf.” Hollystripe meowed, placing Tinykit on the nest. She squirmed around, trying to find the warm body of her mother.
All of a sudden, Darksoul dashed into the nursery. He nuzzled Hollystripe, and she blushed. Darksoul nearly let out another earsplitting yowl of triumph, but he held it back. His eyes danced with joy.
Applekit blinked his green eyes from his nest as two cats crowded into the nursery. Applekit cowered with fear behind his mother.
Faithleap and Frostyheart where gazing at the kits happily. “Hollystripe, they will grow into the best warriors this clan has ever seen.” Frostyheart cooed.
Hollystripe rolled her eyes. She curled around Hawkkit and Tinykit, and began dozing off into sleep.
Hollystripe woke to Hawkkit’s shrill cry. He looked hungry as he stumbled into the next nest, and curled himself against Fireleaf.
Hollystripe giggled. “Hawkkit, come back here.” She scooped him up in her jaws, and placed him down next to his sister, who was asleep.
Hawkkit let out another cry, and started blindly stumbling over to Fireleaf again.
Fireleaf giggled. “Silly kit, rest now.” She meowed, placing Hawkkit with Tinykit. Tinykit squirmed under Hawkkit’s outstretched paws. She let out a shrill squeak, and started stumbling toward Hollystripe’s belly. She sniffed at her belly for a moment, before letting out a cry of defeat.
Hollystripe got panicked. “I don’t think I have my milk!” She squeaked. She picked Tinykit and Hawkkit up, placing them with Fireleaf. Hollystripe raced out of the nursery, tears streaming down her face.
Herbs flew everywhere as Hollystripe blindly charged into Sunblaze. Sunblaze hissed with annoyance, before she noticed Hollystripe’s tears. “Hollystripe, what happened?” She squeaked, suddenly on edge.
“I don’t have milk!” She yowled, loud enough to wake the whole clan.
