So I made up this Clan called MoonClan about 2 years ago. It's had a storyline for a while now, so I don't really want to start from the beginning. Here's the scoop, though: MoonClan is a Clan born from StarClan themselves. The first kits, Moonkit, Scarkit, and Cloverkit, were born from a male and female StarClan warrior. Upon growing up, they set off on a journey to find a territory of their own. They eventually settled down in the small patch of woodlands near the Moonpool. Moonshine became Moonstar, Scarface became deputy, and Clovertail, medicine cat.

Hotstreak, the deputy of MoonClan, lost his brother when they were still young warriors. Chapter one of his story takes place shortly after, before he became deputy, upon the arrival of two young, apprentice-aged loners named Rose and Shark. Here, the story begins.
Chapter 1
Hotstreak stretched leisurely, the sun shining bright on his flame-red pelt. Nothing could be better, he thought. But somewhere in his mind, doubt still tugged at him. He knew that he could never outlive the fact that if he had been quicker, he might have been able to save his brother, Bladefin, from the claws of a WindClan warrior.
Shouting shook him from his thoughts. He raced out of the warriors cave, where he met Muttentail and Iceshard who had been on the dawn patrol.
"There are some loners on our territory!" Muttentail yowled. Hotstreak padded over, resting his tail over her shoulder blades.
"Can someone please tell me what's wrong?" He meowed, turning to Iceshard. "You first," He mewed to the white-and-silver tom.
"We were checking the WindClan border." Iceshard mewed, casting a glance at Muttentail. Wolftail and Cannonfire went ahead, to see if they could sent any prey. We heard yowling, so we ran over to help. Two loners were on our territory, fighting with Cannonfire and Wolftail over a dead mouse. It had been a messy catch, so we figured the loners were the ones that caught it. We tried to help, but Cannonfire turned to me and shouted, 'get back to the Clan! This may not be the right fight!'" Iceshard paused to take a breath. "And that's it."
Hotstreak nodded thoughtfully. Suddenly, something moved in the bracken blocking the secret entrance into the camp. All around the clearing, cats stiffened. A black-and-white tom padded into camp, followed by two, apprentice-aged cats close behind, their heads and tails drooping. Hotstreak padded forward.
"Who are these cats, Cannonfire?" He inquired, staring at the warrior with intesitiy blazing in his green eyes. The black-and-white cat stared evenly back at him.
"These cats wish to join our Clan, Hotstreak. I have already gone over it with them."
There was a gasp from the cats gathered in the clearing, followed by a dreadful silence. Finally, Fieldpaw, the young apprentice, piped up,
"Let rouges into our Clan? That's unthinkable!"
Cannonfire glared at his apprentice. "Loners."
Fieldpaw shrugged. "Fine."
Moonstar, who had been watching, stepped forward.
"Does any cat argue with Cannonfire's desicion?" She mewed challengingly. a few hasty tails went up in the air, but came back down again. Moonstar gazed at the two loners.
"What are your names?" She asked softly.
"I am Rose." The russet she-cat stepped forward, her determind gaze challenged Moonstar's.
"And I am Shark." The tom added, not to be outdone by his sister.
Hotstreak suddenly felt a rush of emotion cloud him.
"You must train Rose." His brother's voice echoed in his head. "She is the one who will walk alongside you, the one who is more MoonClan than you think."
Moonstar's voice snapped Hotstreak back to life.
"I name you Rosepaw." He said, resting her muzzle against the russet she-cat's head. Rosepaw licked Moonstar's shoulder.
"Hotstreak!" Moonstar called. "You are a brave and loyal warrior. Pass these traits along to this apprentice, as I trust you would."
Hotstreak looked at the little apprentice, for a moment frozen in shock. Than he relaxed, as he saw Rosepaw padding up to him.
"What are we going to do first?" She asked eagerly.
"It's been a long day." He replied. "Find a nest in the apprentice's den, and sleep. We'll train tomorrow."
He watched as the little she-cat bounded off to do his bidding. When she was gone, He peered up at the sky, a single warrior of StarClan shining in the darkness.
"I kept my promise, Bladefin." He whispered to the sky. "Now I hope you'll keep yours."
So what did you think? Please keep insults mild, though, I'm not the best writer in the world.
