He had a reason.
And for now, that was all that mattered.
He entered the camp easily. A gap in a bush; a tear in the defenses. Entrances were just weak spots anyways. But he figured he could at least be polite. He was going to ask for a favor, after all.
The trees swung on their hinges, looking far too fragile for the not so severe wind that blew through the camp and into his nose. A curious smell, musty, but flourishing. He did not know what he himself smelt like, but he imagined it to be akin to the smell of cold water and starry nights. Even then, he could feel the constellations boring into him; patterns that had lasted for billions of moons looking deep into his depths and seeing what he himself would never know.
The stares of the clan were nothing compared to that. Nor were the yowls of anger, the hisses, and the claws and teeth that scarred him and made him bleed. He said nothing and kept moving. He had a reason, he had a favor, he had a hope, and he had a gap that leaked that traitorous liquid, that marked his pelt like war paint and sent a quiet recognition vibrating through his bones.
He knew he could honor those precious things. But, he would try.
The den enclosed him, and he had an incredible urge to collapse onto the far too soft ground beneath him.
He stood.
"Beechstar.
Your clan is quite violent."
Stars. Those stars again.
( OOC: Beechstar only, please. I have staff permission to do this. c: )

The dictator stared down at the tom, blinking every once and a while. Beechstar was on the Fallen Oak; his favorite spot. The dicatator wasn't in very good shape. He was skinney, his fur went the opposite way since he never groomed it anymore, plus add the insanity.
"Really? Thank you, stranger. You seem to know my name already. I'll take that as a good thing."
Beechstar flicked his tail and leaped down from the oak and padded over to Zoom/Galestorm.
"And you are?"

Beechstar was not in such fine health, but to say he was either would be a lie. Alas, no one seemed to be at there best these days, but everyone still carried themselves with dignity.
He was the only one begging, but he would beg with his head held high.
Golden orbs narrowed, but the cat said nothing in response. The only sound around them was the rhythmic drum of his panting, and the drip drops of his blood as it tainted the the ground a dark maroon.
He tilted his head at the question. He was not Zoom. So who was he?
The wind blew through him yet again, but he did not shudder.
"Galestorm. I am Galestorm." The word was fleeting and light, but he did not try to catch it as it joined the winds in their cruel dance.
Zoom may have done that, but Galestorm would not.

Galestorm. Has a nice ring to it.
"Well Galestorm. What business do you have here? Are you joining? My clan is definitely open to outsiders."
Beechstar smiled a little. If he could trust this rouge enough he could possibly have some sort of second in command. Beechstar still had no idea why he had kept Mintleaf so long. But now she was gone...and that's all that matters.

Galestorm's expression remained indifferent, "Yes," was all that was said before he aptly went back to staring at the leader. He did not except this question being asked so openly to him, but he knew what answer would be soon coming from the leader's tongue.
( OOC: Lazy post. :c )

"Good. Welcome to the clan, Galestorm. I'll have one of my senior warriors show you around. His name is Shrewbreaker. I'm sure he won't mind at all."
Beechstar looked at the exit of the den and then over to his nest, deciding which he should go too. Ehhhh..nest. He padded over to his nest and laid down but keeping an eye on Galestorm. He didn't want any surprises.

Clan. It was his clan now. Galestorm was a part of it.
He did not know how to feel about this.
Galestorm shifted his weight absentmindedly. "Where can I find this Shrewbreaker?" An odd name, but from Beechstar's musings he was obviously someone worthy of his respect.
But he would judge that for himself once Galestorm actually met the cat.

"I don't know. He's usually...around." Beechstar looked to the side. He never really knew exactly where all his warriors were. "Alright. I'll show you where everything is instead." He didn't feel like searching for the senior today.
The tom got up, stretched and padded over to the exit. "Let's do this quick. I have things to do now that I'm all alone."

"I know i'm not a senior warrior," said Softwish, "But I could show Galestorm around. I know where everything is." The blue-furred she-cat smiled at Galestorm, blue eyes shining.

( OOC: While I really appreciate all of you guys offering to show Gale around, this thread is closed for posting and joining and technically it was private in the first place. Not to mention it is out of character for Galestorm to ask or accept help from anyone.
However, thank you all for the offer.
And please, don't bump this thread anymore. )
