(yes it is what you think.)
First German lesson of the year, and I finally got seated at the back of my class, half the pupils in my class I have never came across of my three years of secondary school. I sat next to a guy named Daniel, who had the most annoying lisp ever. My teacher seemed like a nice lady, she was called miss Owen, and she always worn dresses to school. Even when it was rainy and miserable.
My first impression of her was obviously wrong. She was nasty and scornful, nothing like my old teacher. But the lessons were saved by a boy named Jack Littler. I recognised his face from the Queen tribute last summer. He was ginger and had short, quite curly hair. He always made a joke of some sort.
Like for instance, Miss was teaching us fruit and veg, she made us repeat some words. "Kartoffeln." she would say, and we would repeat, slowly and miserably. And she would then say "Karotten." Meaning Carrots. But when she pointed to a picture and asked us to shout out the correct name, Jack said "We've for-got-ten." Everyone laughed, including me.
It must of been weeks before I realised something. Something which was embarrassing and quite stupid, I have simply fell for this guy in my German class. I never liked someone this way before, my friend had a crush on atleast ten people at the most over the past 3 years and I couldn't see the point of it. But this was different.
Every time I saw him I would look at him, not in the 'I really fancy you so I'm going to stare at your wonderful face' kind of thing, but so that I could see if he was looking back. And he never did. Until one day, when I had to do a re-test at lunch because I got the lowest score in my class: Naught. I didn't even revise for the retest either. Pointless, German is. Jack was sitting infront of me, must have got a bad score in the test aswell. But he marked my second try, and I marked his. When we finished marking he turned around and smiled, handing my paper over to me, and for one second, we locked eyes. That was the most happiest moment in my life. He wrote something on my paper, but I couldn't make it out, it looked like it said "Soo W?" Which was weird. I got eight out of 11 on the test.
Sorry I never wrote in first person before and I certainly never wrote anything ROMANTIC D:
Sorry boys xD
