New and Tired (Open)

[Jasperpaw]

As Cloudpaw started to groom him, Jasperpaw turned to start to lick her snowy white fur on her back. It was nice, grooming other cats, it gave you the sense of helping and familiarity, the young tom also knew that it helped to share the scent of the Clan and to make the cats more recognisable as from RockClan. "Yes, and it will also help share the scent of the Clan, meaning that the other Clans will easily be able to tell that we're from RockClan." He purred. "When's the next gathering? I do hope we all get to go." He meowed with excitment. "All the other Clans would be there. I've never met any of them, but I've heard so many stories."

[Cloudfrost]

Purring Cloudpaw nodded her agreement in his fact.Turning to Jasperpaw she told him "I heard some time ago that we had a gathering, I heard from some warriors that Iceclan had been under controll of some rogues! But when they came to the gathering they announced they were gone. So it's ok now." In fact the clans haven't gone to a Gathering in a long time ths was the first in awhile that she knew of. "The apprentices weren't allowed to go that time, I just heard it from some senior warriors."She informed him. She continued to groom the tom's ears and neck fur.

[Windswirl]

Sitting down as she was beside Cloudpaw.. A grooming? Sure. But the conversation seemed more up worthy. "Yeah. That's the story there. Hopefully Iceclan has their routine back in order. Luckily, rogues are gone in that clan. It would be even worse if that happened to us.. But then, we don't know what would be coming in the later future. I wish it would be something helpful but you never know~" She mews and shared tongues with Cloudpaw, grooming her fur a bit.

It didn't seem weird just no one asked to groom eachother till now~ Jasperpaw was right, we do get closer friendships than just talking. A gathering topic, now that was interesting. As she listened to Jasper and Cloudpaw, she responded happily,"Just wait~ I'm sure we will be at that gathering soon. It would be soo exciting. Meeting other cats from clans, talking.." She purred.

[Cloudfrost]

Cloudpaw smiled at Windpaw, it'll be even better to go as warriors!"she exclaimed. Pausing from Jasper's neck fur Cloudpaw groomed Windpaw's neck, befdore turning back to Jasperpaw. She purred thoughtfully as she dreamed of becoming a warrior beside her friends. It was what Cloudpaw wanted most..

[Windswirl]

"Warriors, yeah!" Oh my, she stood there in a daze, imagining all of us warriors. Strong, probably even more flurry . . Hahaa, no. Slim, experienced, get to go wherever we wanted.

"Oh so, we are probably almost warriors now, with our training." She says.

[Cloudfrost]

Cloudpaw looked at Windpaw "But we've only just become apprentices! I've still gotta few sessions left." She mewed. As warriors came the feel of a new respect and responsibility, Cloudpaw relished the rush of it. So close yet so far....

[Jasperpaw]

Jasperpaw purred as he groomed the two other cats, his eyes almost completly closed. It was moments like this when he could fully apprechiate the Clan. The closeness, the warmth, the loyalty, the friendship. This was what life was for the Clan and no one could disrupt it. The affection made the Clan seem unbeatable, as if RockClan would always remain, it would not come and go like ice did in the leafbare. It would not die away when it rain out of food, like fire. Nor would it submit to age like the trees did. The Clan was old as the rocks and as long as they remains, so would the Clan.

"A gathering would be good to go to, no matter what you are. The knowledge and the understanding. The Clans are all reliant on each other, with out the other Clans, we can't really view ourselves in the way we do." He meowed. "If the Clans were not vital to each other, then there would be no gathering, maybe all the Clans would be one. But here we are." The young tom meowed, pausing as he groomed Windpaw and now turning to start grooming Cloudpaw again.

As the talk mvoed to training, Jasperpaw smiled. "I haven't had much training in the ways of hunting and fighting and I'm sure there is much more I have to learn about the Clan. I think you can never really know when you are a warrior. It isn't something that just happens, like the name, but a gradual change. And often, even warriors are still learning, coming out of the stage that we are travelling through now." The red tabby said softly.

[Cloudfrost]

Cloudpaw nodded "Yeah I agree. After my ceremony I still felt like a kit, I do even now, but not as much." She chimed in. "I suppose over time cats grow more than they think, everyone at different rates. "And eventually they might turn into an entirely better cat, unreconizable. Like the end of Leafbare turns to a better newleaf" Cloudpaw meowed.

[Windswirl]

She nodded,"Well, so do I. I still many to go~ Which is not hard. At least I don't think so. I'd like to look at the positives and when I do~ I eventually have fun learning things well training. it brings out happy in training. Though as I'm right here, it's good discussing these with you both." She purred happily, and laid her head on her paws. "Newleaf and Leaf-Bare? Burrr, cold weather.. it's a good thing we get a chance to out grow our pelts."

Looking but never seeing,

Jasperpaw paused, thinking. Newleaf and leafbare, it was an endless cycle. The tom went back to grooming the other apprentices and purring. "Even kits are on the path to warriors. You start everything at that time." He meowed, with a smile as he remembered the games that went on in the nursery. Chuckling, he remembered when he had received a thorn in his paw and had to go to the medicine cat den, which was where he first met Silentstep, who was now his mentor.

Truth be told, Jasperpaw wasn't feeling the cold too much, his coat, although not as thick as Silentstep's proved to by thick enough, and his tail was long and fluffy. Even though he was rather new to being an apprentice a lot of his kit fur had been lost, although that was mainly during life as a kit. "I'm not really feeling the cold yet, I just can tell the difference. I'm glad for the thickness of my coat." He purred, flickering his tail to rest on Windpaw, the young tom purring in amusement before carefully flickering it onto Cloudpaw's noise. "And it's fun to play with." He grinned, pouncing on his tail.

Batting Jasper's tail away she thought of her own coat out loud "Mine isn't as thick to keep out the cold but it will give me the advantage of stealth when snow falls." She watched as the ginger tom leapt at his tail, she purred in amusment, stifling a mreow of laughter. "You look like a dog, chasing your tail like that!" Cloudpaw jeered.

[Jasperpaw]

Looking but never seeing,

Nodding his head at Cloudpaw's words, Jasperpaw purred. "Its not as an individgual that we will get through this, but as a Clan." He told her. Cloudpaw doubted that the loners had such an easy time, they probably had to start their apprenticeship to their parents as soon as they were born and be ready to be warriors by the age Clan cats became apprentices. Shaking his pelt, the young tom turned his attention back to his tail.

Hearing Cloudpaw's jeer, the red tabby, grinned, then flipped around and lightly moved his paw to pat her side playfully. "But it always helps to practice. Keep you in shape and all that." He grinned, playfully, dropping into a crouch. The tip os his tail twitched as he thought about whether to have a playfight and when would Cloudpaw or Windoaw decide to take his offer of a playfight.

Taking Jasperpaw's hint she darted under him with an outstretched paw, trying to trip him up. Fighting was a good skill, but should be used carefully in her own perspective.

Looking but never seeing,

Leaping high into the air as Cloudpaw tried to dislodge him, the young tom turned in midair trying to angle himself out of either of the apprentices way. Landing, he absorbed the shock, arching his back so he felt nothing, it was all instinctive. Crouching once more, Jasperpaw moved frequently this time, changing directions as often as possible to try and avoid any attacks. Rushing forwards at Cloudpaw, he suddenly changed directions and headed towards Windpaw for a few steps before moving circles around the cats. His aim was to confuse them with mock charges. Then, his paw shot out, aiming to lightly wack the back of Cloudpaw's leg.

Goldenpaw had been curled into a tight ball. He was having sweet dreams of training and hunting and exploring the territory. Sadly that had only been a dream. In reality Tigersoul had been away doing other stuff, while he was stuck being an apprentice for what seemed like forever. And the battle in Treeclan. Personally, he was glad he had missed it. He hated war. A war could easily be stopped with words. He slowly woke up and yawned, getting to his golden-white paws. He hadn't spoken to his old friend, Jasperpaw, in a while. He hadn't really spoken to anyone lately. He had mainly been trying to train, and watch the other apprentices practice moves in camp. He hadn't even been outside of the camp yet. Soon he planned to ask for a new mentor.

He walked over, waving his tail a bit. "Hi guys." He mewed cheerfully, sitting down. "What are we talking about?"
