You see the posts that people make in the boards? That's role-playing, an example is just how good your role-playing is.

RPing, or Role-playing, is basically writing things from the point of your character. OOC, or Out Of Character, is when you write from your point of view (as a human). We mainly use RP, but you can use OOC in places like the General Board, or here in the Help Board. RP example: Maplepaw dashed across the mountainside. The air was freezing, and silence pressed in around her. Snow was falling. Maplepaw stopped and fluffed up her tortoiseshell pelt. "Is anyone there?" she called. OOC example: I like pizza, what about you guys? Hope that helped. ~Maplepaw
