Moving Nest

[Cloudfrost]

Cloudfrost looked up in shock as Dogtail stormed off. Wriggling out from under Stonemask, she took off after her, it was the exact thing she wanted to avoid, but here it was. "DOGTAIL! Please come back! I'd never want to hurt you, please just don't go." she called, her voice falling down rapidly. She hated betraying others, even unintentionally, it left a horrid taste in her. Giving up chase, she sat down in defeat, her head hanging. If she could explain, things could be put back right, if only....

[Stonemask]

Stonemask was shocked that Dogtail heard his words. He looked at Dogtail then back at Cloudfrost. The Dogtail ran of and Cloudfrost ran after her. What was he going to do know.

[Dogtail]

She had found a hollowed out tree, and she climbed in. Dogtail curled up sadly, crying sadly. The brown tabby murmured to herself,

“I hope y-you're happy, S-Stonemask; you got yo-your love and I f-finally get t-t-to feel your pain.”

She said, shutting her eyes and trying to fall asleep; once she woke up she would separate her nest from his and move it as far away from his as possible; Cloudfrost could sleep in his nest. She didn't care.

Cloudfrost looked around once more in a last hope to see the brown she-cat, she llooked back at Stonemask, "Listen Stonemask, I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused. I just can't stand to cause you both any amount of pain, I'll just try to stay away. Okay?" she prompted with a small shrug like it was nothing. But her green eyes were brimming with fresh tears, she just messed it up again, caused a rift between the Dogtail and her best friend.
Sitting beneath the hollow oak, she looked up wishing she could take it all back. "Dogtail, please don't hate me. In all of my time I've known you both, I've always admired you. You could express yourself when I myself can't, and I still think of you as a friend." she said silently to herself, not knowing she was just above her, "You've made him so happy, I'd rather kill myself than take that from him. Take you away from him. I won't have anything to do with him ever again, just please don't do this." she whimpered.
Cloudfrost curled up with the knarled roots, there bark cradling her silently, she stayed awake, wishing for Dogtail to appear, happy and joygul again.

Dogtail's sorrowful voice replied back,

“Don't you get it?! He loves you, you love him. Stonemask has nothing for me. What is the point of being his mate when he doesn't love me?”

The brown tabby hissed, crying once again.

[Cloudfrost]

"Well you can't just give up! If you still love him, fight for him! It's pathetic to see people give up, especially those they love. You may as well say you don't love him, if your gonna give up." She hissed back. If Dogtail loved Stonemask as much as she showed, she'd come for him.
