Rain, Rain, Go Away ~

Dogtail lied in the nest she shared with Stonemask, watching it snow softly outside. She smiled to herself, curling up in the moss bed. It was a nice day; all the drama was gone, no noise, nothing disturbing at all.

[Windstone]

Windstone stumbled into the den, snow clung stubbornly to his grey pelt. "Hello Dogtail," he mewed gruffly at his denmate. Recently Phantomfrost was occupations his mind more an ever, and he felt as if everyone knew. Which wasn't far from the truth, some cats just can't keep their mouths shut when it comes to gossip. Windstone was no fool, he knew why cats shot him looks full of pity and why so many cats looked at him when they thought no one was looking. He suppressed a growl, he didn't need their pity. Like all wounds this one would heal soon enough.

[Runningfeet]

Runningfeet laid in her own nest close surrounded by her younger sister's nests. Her ear perked as she heard the tom enter the den. As he spoke to Dogtail she got a hint of a emotion that did not seem happy. She raised her head and looked at the tom with golden eyes, "Windstone are you ok?"

Windstone scolded himself mentally, he had lost his great skill at hiding his emotions. No good warriors could betray their emotions, this Windstone had learned from his mentor when he was just a 'paw. He worked on making his face emotionless, and got it to look somewhat non-chalant, "Yeah, I'm fine," he decided to goa little furthe into his lie, "It's just that it's snowing really hard out there, thank StarClan for New Leaf!"
