((She got permission for this.)) The black, three legged queen walked into Darkstar's den. She stopped just inside, looking for the familiar shape of her leader. Sparrowfur and her were fairly close and Darkstar was one of the cats she truly respected. Sparrowfur mewed not too lound, but not too quietly, "Darkstar? Are you here? I have a kittypet with me." Sparrowfur sat down, wrapping her tail around her one front fooot. She waited for the leader and Aise to join her here. |

Having scented the kittypet since she entered the clan camp, Darkstar flicked her tail. "I'm here," she snarled as she wished they could bypass credentials and just be on their way. "What is a kittypet doing so far away from her den? She won't survive in the forest for a night."

"Actually, I must argue that point, as I already have," mewed Aise. She dipped her head to the leader. "Greetings. You must be Darkstar. My name is Aise, and I have traveled here through rogue territory. I have managed to survive that. I'm sure I could also take on life in a Clan. I would be loyal to you for all the seasons of my life, and I could do every duty a Clan-born warrior does. With training, of course," the former kittypet added. "Would you accept me into FireClan?"
As the leader snarled, she felt a flash of fear, wondering vaguely if she would turn her down. Well, Aise thought, if she did, I'd go back to the rogue's territory. No use going back to my housefolk.

Sparrowfur nodded to her leader as she approached her. Sparrowfur was unsure of his kittypet's ability to hunt or fight, so she was hesitant on what Darkstar would say to her joining the clan. Kittypets, loners and rouges were rarely accepted into the clan, unless they were kits. Sparrowfur ws friends with Darkstar, so she figured she'd try.
"Darkstar, " Sparrowfur mewed, dipping her head in respect again, "If you allow Aise to join, I will train her. I too am unsure of her abilities and when I have traind her as best I can, I would recomend that you take over for her final assesment, to see if you approve." Sparrowfur flicked the tip of her tail. "And she will need an apprentice name, for Aise wouldn't work, that is unless you want her to keep her kittypet name until trained." Sparrowfur cocked her head to one side, waiting for the leader's answer. |

Aise's eyes widened. She had to keep from bursting out into a gaudy grin, but her eyes gleamed in happiness. A cat was actually offering to be her mentor; something she thought would never happen. But she had to keep calm. After all, Darkstar might not even accept her.
She tried not to keep her hopes up, but it was hard.
