Foxpaw trotted out of the Nursery, and into the Apprentices den. She was so psyched! She was finally an apprentice, and she had the best mentor she could have; Cloudwing. She was so excited to train and meet the apprentices. She had already met a few, but could always meet more.

Sunpaw padded into his new den, "Hello Foxpaw!" He said, very happy to see her. He was now an apprentice with his best friend! "So where's my nest?" He asked looking around the den for an empty nest. It was hard with over half of the apprentices gone.

"I saved you and Nilla one right next to mine!" she replied, super excited. Her best friend was an apprentice finally!

Sunpaw purred and walked over to the nest with Fox's scent on it. He sat down in the one right nest to it, she always thought ahead!

"Who'd you get for a mentor?" she purred. Her green eyes were shining and she grinned. Her grin was a little crooked, but crooked as in to one side. It was cute, and one of her unmistakable traits. She held her grin as she laid down in her nest, curling her tail around her lean, ginger body. She was facing her friend, and anticipating his answer.

Sunpaw brightened up a lot, "Sure! That'd be great!" He purred. Sunpaw looked around the den. "Were is everybody?" He asked.

Cloudpaw's gray and white tabby head shot out of her nest. " What's going on?" she asked in a slurred voice. The words were connected and sounded a bit funny. Cloudpaw stood up on her nest and stretched, giving a big yawn. " Oh, hi Foxpaw, Sunpaw." she meowed. " Guess what?" she meowed. She went ahead talking. " I found a mentor!" she purred happily.
