Wolfkit stumbled toward the entrence of the elders den, a giant squirrel hanging in her jaws. She dropped it, panting from the wight of the creature. "Firelight!?" she mewed, walking into the den a little ways. "Ya here? I brought you a squirrel... and I was wondering if I could mabye get a story." She backed up, her grey tabby fur brushing the walls of the den. "I-Im Wolfkit by the way. Sparrowfurs kit."

"Firelight isn't at home right now. Please leave a message. "
The sarcastic growl of Firelight echoed throughout her vacant den, and two yellow eyes lit up in the dark haven of hers.
"What, kitten, is it that you need? A story? Fine. But it's one piece of prey per story, mind you, dear. "
Firelight pricked her ears. Sparrowfur's kit? Sparrowfur was her best friend, but this kitten was one of many. Just another sprinkle on the doughnut. What made her so special?

Wolfkit ignored the sarcastic growl and grabbed the squirrel, dragging its limp body over to the elder. "You dont have to tell me a story if you dont want to Firelight. I kinda just anted to meet you." She looked at the elder and smiled, hoping to make a good impression. "I brought you the best peice of prey I could find!" Wolfkit mewed, looking down at the huge squirrel.

Firelight rasped her pale, pink tongue over the young feline's forehead, ruffling the fur that she was sure had been carefully placed by Wolfkit's mother. Rising to her paws, Firelight lifted her head, blinking back her ever - growing drowsiness.
"I have something better. Let's play a game. "

(How'd it go? :3)
Firelight emitted a small growl - like sound, which, more or less, could have qualified as a purr. Oh, how she wanted to tell the young kitten 'a get lost game' , but couldn't bring herself to it.
"Er.. how about.. a finding game? I'll hide the. .. the moss ball ...and you have to find it. "

(we won!!! first place in ice hockey! no... i do not live in canada ;D)
Wolfkit twitched her ears, sencing a little annoyance in Firelights tone. She ignored it, glad the elder didnt send her away so quickly. As hard as she tried, it was almost impossible to keep a sigh from drifting out. Moss. Why is it always moss? Wolfkit pushed the thought away and turned around, closing her eyes. "All right! Tell me when your ready!"

(I didn't assume so. :3 And great job!)
Firelight couldn't help but notice the little kit's disappointment. She bit her lip. This was worse than her own sarcasm coming back to bite her in the neck. Hard.
"Er.. is there something else you'd prefer, dear?"
