Fleetpaw sauntered into the leader's den, leaf green eyes narrowed. " 'Ey, Beechstar? " she called, rotting herself near the entrance. It was about time they got some training done.

Beechstar was in his den, but he wasn't stirring. The tom was awake, but he was just staring at the ground. Almost in a sad way. His ears flicked backwards toward Fleetpaw as her voice echoed to the back of his den, where his nest was and where he was currently lying.
Beechstar didn't respond. Instead he just tried to curl up even more than he was, his eyes never looking up.

" Beechstar ? " she called again, padding around. As she barely caught a patch of moss from the little light that slipped in, She padded over, laying next to him. He looks dead.
" There you are.. uhh.. sir ? Are you.. okay, may I ask ? " she questioned, almost wanting to comfort him. Then again, he could be angry, and secretly wanted to stab her with white claws and push her out. But.. he wa sher mentor, and she wanted to train- no matter how selfish that sounded. Unless he was hurt..or sad.. then she'd go away.

Beechstar let out a long sigh, standing up finally after some long, silent moments. It's not a good time but..she's my apprentice. I need to train her and not hide in my den. He thought, one of his ears turning to her direction so he could listen to her closely.
"Ready to train, Fleetpaw? Sorry, I was resting." More thinking than resting though.. He padded slowly over to her side. "We're going to learn how to climb trees today. It's important for a Treeclan cat to master that skill. It's what we're known for." (I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier.)

Fleetpaw looked for a bit. Resting ? Huh.. okay.. " Awesome. Let's show those trees we can cli-- I mean, let's go. " she said, trying to calm down. Being obnoxious wasn't what you did as the leader's apprentice !
