Once at the elders den Tearkit saw all the elders."So which ones Firelight?" Tearkit whispered to Squirrletail, trying his best not to wake any of the elders up.

Her eyes flashed around the den for that one certain cat - Firelight. Oh boy, would this be a sight to see after not seeing each other for moons ago! With a little bit of movement living in this den, her nose winced. There sure were alot of visiting cats to here though!
"She's that one right there." she said, pointing to the one elder hiding herself in the back of the den. No wonder she wanted to be alone. "Just go up to her and carefully bite into her ticks, telling her what you're going to do first." she whispered. "Catching her awake can be just like feeling the bite of a badger!"

The light brown warrior diligently watched as the kit began his tick. Please, please don't be a grouch Firelight! she begged in her head still wondering what the elder might do. She could snap at any moment and possibly claw off Tearkit.

Firelight, just alike to the tick that had been so forcefully bitten off her, whisked around, ready to bite off the head of Tearkit. Her elbow gaze lit aflame with fury, and she emitted a low growl from her throat. What was this cat's problem? Her maw curved upward in a bittersweet smile.

Opening her mouth to tell Firelight what Tearkit was doing, she quickly snapped her muzzle shut. This would have to be something the kit had to answer for himself and believed that this could be a way that he could learn more about his clan members.

Firelight pondered a moment about what she should do. What could possible even up to his blunt response?
Crouching down low, she leaned into the kit. He didn't look timid, but she would surely scare him by the time his trip to her haven ende. Sneering, she lowered her voice into a serpent - like hiss.
'Oh, were you? And what makes you think I want to have your nose in my fur, huh? I don't want lice, thanks. '
