[ Alice .. I want Sleety to be a favorite, tooooooo~ xD ] He arrived.
Who? Why Sleetkit, of course.
His little black paws scuttled across the Elder's Den, in attempt to be a silent little kitten. In his jaws beheld a plump mouse; which was very rare for leaf-bare weather. His blue eyes glistened in curiosity as he searched for the black and white elder.
Mental note, he thought Never ask Firelight her age. [/blockquote]

(It will happen~<3)
Firelight, of course, was busy in her den. Busy sleeping. Pfft. She was old, and deserved a rest once and for all. Just one day, she pleaded to her ancestry as time wore on. Just one day without some random kitten or apprentice coming to badger her and making a nuisance of themselves. Please.
But this was FireClan. Her peace would never come. Without having to turn herself around, Firekight dlicke her ears in disdain.
'What is it this time? A story?'

[ Yes! >:3 ] A story .. ?
Sleetkit stepped forward, his fluffy black fur prickling in fear. He was a wimp, like all kits. He wasn't quite sure where to set the mouse down, since Firelight's head was turned to look at the back of the den.
So he mustered the courage.
"No ma'am, I just came to give you something to eat."
Sleetkit prevented himself from stuttering lick a stupid fool; he wanted to appear intelligent. [/blockquote]

'Like I don't get enough of that. ' The bittersweet response came as a slight hiss as Firelight pulled at a burr she had accumulated in her sleep, and, as she succeeded, the whereabouts of it became unknown, and she genuinely hoped it wouldn't get caught in her pelt again. This feline was afraid of her. He had to be. They all were.
Turning around grudgingly, she rested her lazy yellow gaze on Sleetkit.
