Freesia crept through some kind of entrance, her nostrils quivering slightly. Same scent as the border, but much stronger and fresher. Quivering in anxiety, the gray she-cat shot forward in a haste of excitement. Who would catch her in the midst of this?
It better not be the leader..

Shadowbird-
=3=
Shadowbird lurked around with no muse in boredom. The camp was filled with chit chat that he did not care to take part of. One kit stood out like a sore pad on a paw. He walked over and the scent of Treeclan was definitely not on this little critter.
"What are you doing, kit?" He questioned. He didn't seem to have a harsh voice but it wasn't exactly a warm welcome. He felt groggy, lazy, tired. All of the above.

Freesia jumped, her dark gray fur fluffed up. "NONE OF YOU BIZNESS." she hissed, flattening her ears to her skull. Whirling around, she shrank low to the ground while growling furiously. Skittering backwards lightly, she fell head over feet and cursed herself. She didn't know this was a clan full of cats. Wait... a clan. She growled defensively, her blue eyes scared and furious now.
"Who are you?" she spat back.

Quickfox trotted easily through the camp, stepping daintily over roots and rocks. Spotting two fellow clanners, Greenpaw and Shadowbird, she twitched her ear. A warm breeze carried the scent of a stranger to her nose and mouth, but it was a cat of a young age. It still wasn't welcome. She padded forward, tail waving swiftly. The cat was a small brown and white tabby she-cat, about the age of a young apprentice.
“You are not welcome here. Unless you are to see .. B-Beechstar.” she hated saying his name sometimes. Just the though of him being their leader .. Sickened her.
Seeing the young cat get a bit defensive, she commented, “We aren't going to hurt you. Drop the tough act.”

Shadow-
"Pffft I'm a nobody." He sat down. "Well kitty if I can't know your name then maybe you prefer the nickname kit? Nobody seems to like that." He shrugged.
"You’re not from here... Are you? It's easy to tell, your scent is different. Easy to tell. You stick out like a light in the night. Like this cat said are you here to see the leader or not, if no then you have no business here."
Outsiders, how annoying.

(Shows Quicky the in the title but whatever. e-e)
Beechstar padded slowly out of his den, his eyes shutting as the sun blinded him temporarily. Uhh. It's bright today. But at least leaf-bare is over. New-leaf is much better. More prey. And that's definitely what we need more of.. He thought, cracking his eyes open again. Beechstar jumped up on the Fallen Oak to watch his clan, lying down on the old tree. He was still exhausted from training Fleetpaw yesterday even with a good night sleep.
I can't believe I'm aging. Beechstar yawned, but his mouth closed and clenched when he heard voices. Quickfox, Shadowbird, and an unfamiliar voice. "Great.." He muttered, standing up and jumping down from the Fallen Oak.
Beechstar walked over and asked, "What's going on?"

[ I am positive that was an O. Her first post was edited. o-o ]
“Seems we have a guest. I imagine she'd want to speak to you.” she told the leader, avoiding his gaze carefully. “You might as well let her join. She'll be leader one day.” she smirked, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Freesia quickly turned to an unfamiliar scent. Pure fear shot through her veins, her light blue eyes wide with horror. Turning around, she launched herself up a tree trunk to scrabble desperately into the bark and pull herself on a low but hidden branch. These cats are...cannibals! she thought fearfully. The dark gray cat fluffed out her fur, the young she-cat whimpering slightly. Where and how could she escape?

Beechstar shot a glare that could destroy boulders at Quickfox, but she had turned away so he couldn't look at her directly in the eyes. Why does she hate me so much? He sighed mentally and turned to Freesia. Who was now...up a tree.
Beechstar made a semi-amused face and said calmly. "We are not going to hurt you, little one. No need to hide. I can still smell you...and sort of see you."

Freesia scowled, but the tone of his voice told her that they weren't dangerous. When he mentioned that he could sort of see the small dark gray cat, she jumped down and warily walked forward with an apprehensive look on her face. For some reason, she felt as if she could trust this strange ginger and white tomcat. Looking up into his amber eyes, she relaxed and sat down. Eyes wide, she cautiously watched him before watching the others' faces.
With a sigh, she felt the fear run hot in her veins again before meeting the tomcat's amber eyes with her own light blue eyes. Typically, she believed him.

When Freesia finally calmed down, Beechstar smiled the best a cat could. It wasn't one of those 'teeth-showing' smiles though. Just a normal, little one. He licked one of his white paws and said, "Good. You're acting civil now."
"So..why are you here? To join?"

The senior shecat caster a glance at the cat. She was brave. Probably the daughter of rogues? Otherwise she wouldn't be alone. Loners go stayed in there homes often looked after their young for a longer period of time. Rogues didn't often care as much.
“Since when is every cat who arrives at the order allowed to join?” she faced Beechstar in a civilized manner, not feeling to argue.

"Um..yes." she said softly, glancing up at the much older dark ginger tabby tom. Shooting a glare over to the senior adult, she gazed at the tom who seemed to have the order around here. Giving the tom a curious look, she shook out her fluffy dark gray fur with a sigh.
"Um..I'm Freesia." she said, feeling the need to start up a conversation.

Power abuse. Mm? Hm.
Quickfox looked away, uninterested. Freesia.
“ .. If you are joining, your name must change to something .. CloudClan approves of.” a moment later, the shecat face/pawed. The young cat didn't know what CloudClan was, did she?

Freesia just blinked blankly. "Uh.." she muttered, her eyes wide. "What's CloudClan?" Her face blank, she flicked her tail lazily and watched the area swarm with kits, apprentices, and warriors with interest. Of course, she had particular interest in the apprentices.
"If it's good, then I do believe in CloudClan." she murmured with faint interest.
