Beechstar was already awake. He was sitting down by his nest, looking down and muttering to himself about something that involved warriors being disrespectful to him. Beechstar's head shot up when he heard Scarlet's voice, so he turned around for her.
"My warriors are already trained for battle. All I need to do is announce it. We're all fed and fit now that it's new-leaf." |

Koisplash blinked tiredly, but straightened up when she recognized Scarlet. She had returned, apparently.
Stifling a yawn, she trotted after her and into the leader's den, just as Scarlet finished speaking. The deputy wanted to spit at the other she-cat's emphasis on the word "warriors," but she kept her composure. No use starting a fight now.
"I'll announce it shortly in the morning," she answered curtly, cutting into the conversation. "Anything else?"

Beechstar shook his head after Koisplash talked. "No. I will announce it. Cats will think I do not want to do my job. I already have to many cats turning their backs on me." He fcensoreded his tail and pointed at Scarlet with his paw.
"You will protect Scarlet. If anyone charges at you after you gave them a warning Koisplash..hurt them." Beechstar stood up and left his den, leaving the his deputy alone. (WE POSTED ON THE SAME EFFING MINUTE!! D:<) |

Koisplash watched Scarlet go, slashing her tail through the air rather irritably. This will be over soon, Koi, she reminded herself. It's just a short while until we'll get our territory back.
She started, just as Beechstar spoke, and nearly gagged on the air. Protect Scarlet? Great. Just when things couldn't get any worse.
She sucked in a deep breath of air to calm herself, and then left the den as well, trying to regain some comprehensible thoughts.
