He walked into the den after Scarlet, remaining silent. He would help mark where a couple of warriors would be with herb bundles, and where he would be himself. The tabby-tom wouldn't stay too far from camp, just in case.
Of course, he'd have to teach the selected cats a couple of basic healing tips for them to help the injured warriors they find. He couldn't run around the battle himself. He would have to carry far too many herbs, and his bad leg wouldn't be any help. He would mainly be healing the life threatening injuries.

Koisplash nodded. "That part hasn't been changed," she said curtly. If TreeClan was going to win this time, they had to go mostly by a former enemy's strategies.
However, you could tell she was uneasy. She still had been fussing over if they had enough warriors to overtake the D eathClan cats...unless even if they were outnumbered, a quick surprise rush would give them an advantage.

The calico cat listened closely to every word. She did have to admit to herself that the plan sounded good; it was no wonder Scarlet had been a general.
"Well, I'll confess that sounds promising," she answered. "But at what time, exactly? Dawn?"

I cut in before Scarlet may respond. "We won't need Medicine Warriors for that first wave, hopefully, but I will need at least two warriors to be at the sidelines with herbs. I myself can't handle all the little injuries on my own, nor do I have the time to heal so many at once. I'll be somewhat close by with a couple of newer apprentices to help me with the biggest, most threatening injuries. Meaning we should try to give new apprentices like Hiddenpaw and Softpaw enough battle training to protect me for when we do this."
I drop a leaf wrap in front of my paws. A large leaf with a thing of cobwebs, marigold and some burdock. "This is what I would have the two or three warriors holding. I suggest that some less experienced warriors have this. Such as Blueflower and Greenflare." It made me a little proud that I actually remember these names. "I figure that if they stay near the back of the battlefield they shouldn't get attacked. And even if they do it isn't like they won't be able to fight." Perhaps I was taking this a little too seriously, but I didn't want to come home to find every warrior involved standing outside my den waiting for me.
"I was also thinking..." A quick breath, trying to figure out how to word it. "What if, instead of having the one major attack group at the end, we try something like this.." I draw a circle in the dirt. "Just pretend that's the place we're fighting at." I mark a couple of lines at four of the 'edges'.
"After the first group, we can still do that little pause. Then we send in another in another small, quick battle group. We don't fight long enough for the Deathclanners to really see which warriors we send in. If their little attacks are fast enough, we could fool the Deathclanners into thinking we have more warriors than we do. Plus the quick sneak attacks will help cause less injury, and take away less energy from our fighting cats."
That was an old battle plan I had learned back when I was still training to be a warrior. My old mentor -Nameherehur- had taught it to me and a couple other apprentices during a training game. Our team had used that tactic to win the game. However that was around the time I had decided to train in the art of healing. Never thought the plan would actually be an idea for a real battle.

Koisplash started when Waspwing spoke. She listened to his plan, and then spoke.
"I'll make sure you have some of the warriors and apprentices to help you with the herbs," she said. "But those same warriors should be the ones protecting you, if you want the newer apprentices to help you out. Battle training to protect someone would take a bit more than a day, and I'm anxious to take back the territory as soon as possible, before D eathClan probably decides to take more TreeClan land.
As for your strategy...it sounds promising, but I'm afraid we'd have to go with Scarlet's. As a former D eathClan cat, she'd know their plan style better." She thankfully avoided gagging at the fact she had just agreed with Scarlet over a fellow Clanmate.
The deputy turned back to Scarlet. "Alright, then. In that case, tomorrow at sunrise."

My eyes narrow, fur slightly rising. However I immediately fix my fur. Tomorrow? Fan-freaking-tastic. Now I get to do another job. Herb collecting. Just..Great.
Without another word I get up and walk toward the entrance to the den. "Koisplash, Scarltet," I look back at them, eyes barely slits. "this battle better not fail. Because if it does, I will make you pay. It won't be tomorrow, nor next day. But one day, I will make you hurt. And that pain will be like no other. I can fully promise you that."
I was about to give up almost every single one of my herbs, and I didn't even have time to collect some extra. If the clan lost one single cat, my promise would be brought into effect.

Koisplash resisted the urge to roll her eyes. What was he, some melodramatic kit? He was acting like she and Scarlet had just killed his parents in front of him.
"If you needed more time to collect herbs, you could have said so," she deadpanned.
She turned back to Scarlet, trying not to let her eye twitch. "So, is there anything else you need?"
