A rustle of the entrance and a tortoiseshell she-cat stepped through the brambles. She slowly padded in, hoping, if they were sleeping, she wouldn't wake them. The amber eyed warriors looked around the den, seeing a brown and red furred lump in the corner. She smiled, sitting down near the entrance, dropping a rabbit from her strong jaws. Eaglewind had come to see an old friend, Redstorm. Now, to say, he really was, an OLD friend. She chuckled to herself, her attention coming off the elder as she had a flashback into the past, when Coyotehowl was still here, and so was Brownfeather, and they all hung out together, with Redstorm as well. For, it was strange, Redstorm was her father-in-law.
The tortoiseshell she-cat raised her head again, this time looking for the other elder, Wildwind, her mother's sister, so, her aunt. It seemed as though Eaglewind was related to a lot of cats in the clan. She waited patiently, wondering if the cats were asleep or awake.

Red~
He lifted his head, nostrils flaring. I knew that scent anywhere. "Eaglewind!" He quickly rolled onto his paws. "It's good to see you again." Eaglewind wasn't just a regular friend. She was technically family. She and Coyotehowl were good, good friends. It was nice to see her again.
Red walked over and rubbed his head against her shoulder. "Where have you been? I miss seeing cats that aren't a nuisance to the clan." Why lie? He sat back on his haunches, tilting his head. "Have you been alright?"

I made my way into the Elders' Den groggily, muttering swears under my breath about Cloudclan knows what. I was in a pitiful mood. Nothing new. I stormed in, not even noticing Eaglewind until I was already fully inside. I instantly lit up.
"Eaglewind, dear, lovely too see you!" I chirped, racing to her and nuzzling her side.
"It's been so long sense I've seen you. Much too long. My have you grown."
There I was, going into grandma mode. the cutest words and sweet compliments. I couldn't help it. I was always like this around Ivy's kits. They where the best things in my life, aside from my own grandkits.

Eaglewind smiled, nudging them both on the shoulder, greeting them warmly. She had missed them dearly, for, she was completely alone in the camp, besides Ivy, who, she almost never saw. Otherwise, Eaglewind mostly stuck to herself. The tortoiseshell she-cat sat down, looking at the two cats who she remembered so well as young, strong, fit cats. Sure, they weren't skinny, weak, and pathetic, but it was hard for Eaglewind to think of them as elders.
"It's wonderful to see both of you again. It brings back memories of when IceClan was a somewhat successful clan. Now look at us." Eaglewind chuckled, flicking her tail to the den entrance. The clan was filled with apprentices and young warriors, and even some kits, falling in 'love' and getting their hearts broken. It was sad to think about, how much IceClan has changed. Eaglewind shook her head, snapping her attention back to the two cats sitting in front of her.

Wildwind--
"Oh trust me, I know where you're coming from." I said with a half-hearted smile. It was nice to see those cats with at least a little sanity every now and again. Recently, Iceclan has been such a drag. Correction. It's been quite the terror for quite some time now.
"Eh, We're improving. We're not as bad anymore. Maybe the others are gaining a little bit of sense."

Red~
He shrugged and sniffed at his tail, positive there was a tick. "It would be nice if the apprentices would go back to normal and start treating us for ticks. At least once a quarter moon or something." He grumbled, half to himself. He quickly snapped back to the general topic.
He settled down, stretching a bit. "I suppose the clan has gotten better. I think we just need to help out some of the younger warriors, though. Kind of get them into a correct path."

Eaglewind lowered her head, plucking the tick off Red's tail, then spitting it out, as it flies, dead, out of the den entrance. She chuckled to herself. The tortoiseshell she-cat sat back down, curling her tail around her paws lightly. Her amber eyes flicked from one cat to the next.
"Hopefully." She meowed plainly, shifting her paws and flicking her tail, as a fly landing on her black tip. Eaglewind looked at her father-in-law, then at her aunt. They seemed perfectly happy in this den, as elders. Eaglewind on the other hand, was miserable as a warrior, with no warrior friends, since Ghostcinder disappeared, yet again. She sighed, a small dust cloud rising from the ground, being caused by her breath.
