Three she-cats returned from the hunting grounds, their pelts shining like the stars, and eyes excited. One had excellent news to share with her piers, and she couldn't wait to do so. And although the news was excellent, it was a bit sad. She would be leaving the apprentices den to be a Warrior, to be Foxtwist. She was a grown-up now, her time and finally come. She hoped her friends would be excited.
"Nilla? Sunny? Cloudy?" she called into the apprentice's den, after dropping her kill off at the pile. "You guys in here?"

~Cloudpaw
A gray and white tabby she-cat's head popped up, looking from side to side. She blinked sleep out of her blue eyes. " Foxy? Is that you?" she asked. " What is it?" Cloudpaw meowed, sitting up, scraping moss out of her fur.

"I did it! I passed my assessment! I'm a Warrior now!" she said excitedly, with a smile on her face. She hoped Cloudy would be proud of her.

Cloud~
A smile crossed her face. " Congrats, Foxy! But, wait...You're leaving..." She sighed. " I will miss you, Foxy." she mewed sadly.

"I know, I'll miss you, too. But.... You'll join me soon, right? All of you? Right, Cloudy?" She licked her friend on the cheek, and a sad, yet happy smile spread over her face.

She gave Foxy a weak smile. " Yes. I should be there now." she meowed sadly. " See you, I guess, Foxy." she whispered, licking her friends head.

"Where are Sunny and Nilla?" she asked. She wanted to share her news with them, too.

Was Cloudpaw angry with her? She couldn't be, right? But.. It sure seemed like it. Why couldn't she just be happy, and proud for her?
