Cloudbreeze sat near the entrance of the RockClan Warriors' Den, her blue gaze traveling around the clearing and up at the cloudy sky. Rain ... and soon. Cloudbreeze thought.
" Sunmist? Are you up?" she called softly for her mate. She flicked her tail as her soft, blue gaze traveled around the Den.

Sunmist lifted his head and replied to her with a grunt. Then a sigh, "Yes," the a pause, "Yes I'm up." He mewed turning to her. "What do you want?" He asked leaning over and licking her cheek. He got to his paws and stretched.

Sunmist sighed, "Cloudy.... I really need to tell you something." He licked the fur on her ear, "But first, you have to promise you won't get to angry at me." He looked deep into her eyes.

Cloudbreeze felt a bit scared. Was he leaving her? And, if so, why? " I-I won't. What is it?" she asked, fear now filling her sky-blue eyes.

Sunmist saw the fear and her eyes and wished so much that he didn't say anything at all. He took a deep breath and said very quickly, "Cloudbreeze, I kinda like Lily too, but I didn't know at the time and I finally found out but didn't say anything in fear that you'd be mad at me." Sunny finished, panting a little. "And I still like her." He meowed. And I wish wasn't so stupid.

Hurt flashed in Cloudbreeze's eyes. " So ... You're going to leave me?" she meowed. Thinking about it, not meeting his gaze, she nodded. " Okay. Leave me if that's your choice." she meowed, walking past him. She wasn't made, but hurt.
