The old she-cat lounged about in the elder's den, her faded blue eyes starring into space as she remminiced about the olden days. "When did all this time pass?" She mused alloud. You see, when you become an elder, you're allowed to talk to yourself. Its classified as exceptable. Rainfeather was, in short, bored. She may be an elder, but she needed something to do! The silver and whtie tabby she-cat let out a loud sigh...

~Rainfall Rainfall stared at the fresh-kill pile, deciding what to grab for the elders today. She had already brought prey to the queens, who were fine with almost anything... but the elders were a tad more picky. She sighed and snatch a squirrel from the pile, hoping it would do for the elder(s), which it probably wouldn't since elders seemed to complain about everything they could. She padded along with her prey up to the elders' den and pushed through the barrier. "I vrought fey!" she meowed through squirrel fur.

(OOHHH MYYY GGOODDDD, I SUMMONED YOU. Anyway, it's nice to finally meet you. xD)
Waspwing walked into the Elders' Den, holding a large wad of moss. Seeing as how the apprentices were lazy as heck, he'd have to help out himself. Oh well, it would be nice to have a chat with the elders. They were always so calm about everything, and actually knew what he duck they were talking about.
Suddenly Waspwing realized he was nearly face-to-face with an elder he had never seen before. And she wasn't one of the newest elders. Oh, goody! Finally he could hear some new stories.
Wow..Doesn't that sound like he's an apprentice? Did he care? Hah! He still loved to listen to elder stories. It soothed him, and took him away from the medical problems.

(replies to PM XD)
Rainfeather's head shot up as she suddenly received two visitors...at the same time! "Hullo, dearies!" She purred, her blue eyes traveling from the prey, to the she cat bringing it to her, to the medicine cat who brought moss. "Thank you so much for the prey, love. ANd to you, for the moss- er...You'll have to forgive me kitties, I don't quite recall your names- if I ever knew them." She explained offering a shy cat-like smile to the two. It wasn't often she had visitors, let alone the medicine cat and a warrior!

Rainfall set down the squirrel at the elder's paws. "Rainfall," she purred and settled down. She nodded to the tom with the moss. "And that's Waspwing." She tilted her head, "If you don't want squirrel I could go fetch something else real quick. . ." she asked the elder politely. (Waspwing would you happen to be my old apprentice Wasppaw?)

Rainfeather chuckled. "Well, it's a pleasure to make both or your aquaintences. But, Rainfall, don't trouble yourself dear. Squirrel is just fine with me. Would either of you two like a bite?" She inquired. Her eyes flickering from one visiter to the other. She suddenly felt very old- but then again, she was old. She was an elder for Cloudclan's sake. It seemed like just yesterday was was a young warrior herself...Shaking her thoughts away, she put on her happy, elder face. Brainstorming some stories- just incase of course. After all, her visitors were adults today, they may not want to hear her stories.

(Nope xD)
Waspwing settled down and slowly crafted his moss wad into a ball. He began rolling it around under one paw, trying to amuse himself. "So, Rainfeather, what was it like being a warrior for you?" He asked, trying to bring up some sort of story. Maybe, just maybe, a story could bring him out of his boredom.
He hated that he had never met either Rainfall or Rainfeather before. Rainfall was only a warrior, but Rainfeather was an elder. And probably older than Afterlife or Shrewbreaker. He should have met her already.

Rainfeather thought for a moment. "Well, it was different- that is for certain. Spiritstep, well, she was Spiritstar then. She was a wonderful leader...although we all had those difficult seasons. Mintleaf was the deputy as well- may Cloudclan shine on her spirit. There was drama aplenty...that's probably the only thing that hasn't change." She mused, tucking her white paws under her. "I remember we had to ban one apprentice- a friend of mine in fact. There were the Deathclan rades...when those fox hearts raded our nurseres and apprentice dens. But the mate drama- great Cloudclan, it was almost worse than what it is today." She shook her head. "It's all so long ago really...all the specific details blur together sometimes...except for-" The silver tabby paused, her eyes narrowing slightly. The one memory she never could forget was when her friend- Solarpaw at the time- had been exiled. She probably never would forgett it in truth.
