That's all I do. Wander.

Completely and utterly lost in the world.

It didn't matter how hard she tried.
There was no way back into the circle of happiness that was kithood.
She was lost.

It had been so long since she had played a simple game.
A game uninterrupted by love.
Uninterrupted by becoming warriors.

A game...
a game.
Life is a game, albeit a hard one.

"L" stands for Lily.

Lost.
Ignored.
Lonely.
Yes, that's Lil.


Lilypaw grinned with the success of her achievement.

All of her friends were gone.
She was alone.
Most of them, it seemed, were taken by love.

Sunny loved Cloudy.
Cloudy loved Sunny.

Addy loved Poppy.
Poppy loved Addy.

Talon– no, she wouldn't even think about Talon and Leps.
In love.
Like everyone else.
But her.

That left Gin-Gin.
Who was so sad and lonely that she had gone mad.
Lily would go mad too.

Everycat in RockClan was ignoring Lilypaw.

She sat up and gave her bright golden fur a quick grooming.
Then she slowly meandered out of the den, thinking:

Ignored
Lonely

Like Lil, wandering was a daily occurrence in Gingerpaw's life.

Gambling the time
Incensed
Never or Never Not Waiting

THat was Gin now.
Wandering.

But she wasn't sure about today. Things seemed to be gambling.
A dice was rolling.
And she would have to wait.

Gin pressed against Lil.
"How are you feeling?"
"Should we make amends?"

Lily shrugged. Maybe.... but what then?

Gingerpaw could see the uncertainty in her sister's eyes. Their pelts brushed, "Come on, even if he rejects us, we'll feel better." She was silent then continued, "Cuz at least we tried..."
