Sunkit walked into the elders den. He had heard that elders were cranky,stinky,and rude.That didn't really matter to Sunkit.He could be cranky,stinky,and rude on a bad day .Sunkit looked around...nobody looked to be in here, or maybe they were just asleep."Um hello...anybody home?" he called quietly.Sunkit really wanted to talk to an elder.He wanted advise-on how to be a perfect cat on the first day of being an apprentice.His ceremony was bound to be soon he was older than six moons already!But he would wait all time he needed-because that's a skill he would need in the future, patience.
When nobody answered fast he decided they were asleep.Sunkit shrugged, Guess being old makes you sleepy, he thought.At last Sunkit decided to wait for an elder-any elder to wake up and talk to him.Sunkit was tired of talking to other kits that were always loud. He wanted to talk with someone that was a warrior.Someone who could talk to him about things other than "Hey Sunkit want to play Mossball?" Of course Sunkit liked to play mossball- but that got annoying after a while.Now all he could think about was becoming an apprentice.Like all kits his age and younger- he wanted to be outside of camp! Out into the wild were he can feel useful to the clan-not like a burden just sitting around and eating all day.
