Leopardripple being the lazy she-cat she was padded into the elders den and looked around Oh dear god NO! SHADOWOLDTAIL LIVES HERE! WHEN IM OLD ILL HAVE TOO LIVE WITH HIM WHYY! Though Shadowwing wasn't the one she should be worrying about its Fireoldtail she should worry about. She looked around and sat down "Firrrrreeelliiiight come out come out wherever you are" she sung

Firelight wrinkled her nose in disdain at the sound of someone interrupting her slumbers. That's when she remembered. She had an apprentice. No.. she had two apprentices. Why? Why as an elder? Weren't these the days that were meant to live in solitude and happiness? The golden years? Why now did Darkstar choose to assign her more nuisances to babysit while they gave their mothers a rest. She blinked her eyes open, somberly, sleepily, and stared, rather.. deathstared.. at Leopardripple. What in hell did this feline want of her?
(I'm going to try to get through an actual thread, so don't mind my lack of effort. e.e)

She backed up "oooh no! Um listen Firelight don't kill me Ok! I I won't bring Shadowwing out" she laughed in fear as she backed up some looking at the she-cat "I came too see if you wanted help, I have th-three apprentices Rosepaw, Greenpaw, and Frostpaw, all almost ready for their assessment and I was wondering i-if you would like m-me too take yours off your paws." stammered out the she-cat

Firelight rose to her full height, tail lashing with a steady rhythm. She advanced on Leopardripple.. not with hostility.. but rather.. menace.
"Do you think that just because I sleep the day away, that just because I reside in a den of elders, I am not qualified to care for my own apprentices? I have done it in the past, I can do it again, do you understand?"

Leopardripple fell on her but and backed up. This she-cat had always scared her even when she wasn't a grumpy elder "F-Firelight it was j-just a offer! Don't hurt me!" she mewed and put her paws up too push the she-cat back. Fireoldtail was just a little too close for her liking. She looked at the she-cat with her venom green eyes blazing into the she-cats venom yellow eyes "W-Would you like some p-prey?" asked the onyx she-cat she she kept her paws up. Leo was shaking like a leaf in leaf fall. She was freaking out I am gonna die before I make it too elder hood if im not careful! she thought

Firelight found herself at loss for words. She contemplated, pondering at what she could possibly say that wasn't bittersweet.. or crude.
"I suppose you could come with me. The age has been taking it's toll on my muscles and limbs. I'll be no good training two apprentices at once alone. A young feline like you would do as assistance, yes.. "

"I ain't too terribly young, I am older then most warriors here and it stinks. Soon ill have too live with" she stopped and shuddered "Shadowoldtail. Unless you killed him for me? As well as your self" she looked at the she-cat with begging eyes "Ok and so who are your apprentices? At the moment mine are learning battle, then their last one is hunting. Then theyll be ready for their assessment" she said

Firelight paused momentarily. Who were her apprentices again? Oh.. oh.. that's right.
"Spiderpaw and Silverpaw."
She answered the question uneasily, as if having second thoughts. Maybe she should have accepted the given offer. Maybe she wasn't quite cut out for the job of having two more apprentices. After all, it was a difficult task, wasn't it?

Sliverpaw, never met that one. Spiderpaw, he seemed famous too little Peonypaw its all she heard about "Sliverpaw ... Ive never heard of her but you Peonypaw won't shut up about Spiderpaw so I know him well... from her talks. Wow, Darkstar gave you two apprentices, he must trust you poor Shadowoldtail isn't trusted" she chuckled
