Jaywood walked into camp, after falling out of a tree she was going to land properly, but cut her right hind leg. It seared with pain and as Jaywood walked, she had to limp. She didn't even bother to go to the river and attepted to wash a little of the blood off. It was hurting to much and camp was closer. She limped into the den, she couldn't believe how clumsy she was being in that tree. "Waspwing... Fernpelt." Jaywood called. She thought she wasn't going to hear an answer from either of them at the moment.

Fernpelt looked up from where she was cleaning out the herb stock from old herbs. "Jaywood! What happened?" Fernpelt exclaimed. Not waiting for an answer, Fernpelt immediately grabbed a patch of moss and soaked it in the pool. As she wiped away the blood, she waited for an answer.

"I feel.. out of a tree and hit a sharp rock." Jaywood answered. Pausing once in her reply. She kept standing, unsure if Fernpelt wanted her to lay down or not. She didn't want to get into trouble just for doing something wrong. She waited and let Fernpelt do her work. Jaywood listened for commands from Fernpelt.

Out of a tree? Fernpelt thought. TreeClan cats should not be falling out of trees. Shaking her head in slight exasperation, she motioned for Jaywood to lie down on her left side so Fernpelt could easily work on the leg. While Jaywood positioned herself, Fernpelt went back to her herbs. "Hmm...deep cut...infection can be dangerous if we don't prevent it in that sort of wound...it'll probably hurt, too..." the she-cat mumbled to herself. Returning to Jaywood with some comfrey, dock, and goldenrod with her, she promptly began chewing the herbs to create a poultice. "Keep wiping that cut with the wet moss there. I need your flank to be clean when I apply this," she ordered without looking p from her soon-to-be poultice.

Jaywood did as she was told. It did hurt a lot, but she had to ignore until she got to camp. She only fell out of the tree when she was trying to get a bird. She was a little stupid and went for the branch when it was far from where was. Her front paws grabbed the branch, but she couldn't pull herself up because the bird was pecking her and she fell.

When the poultice was applied and Fernpelt had snagged catchweed onto her pelt to keep the poultice on, she admired her work. "Don't go climbing trees until it's healed again. For that matter, don't do much at all until it's healed," she added as an afterthought. "You can go and sleep in the Warrior den, but I expect you to visit me every day until I tell you it's entirely healed."
