Phantompaw? [p]

It sat at the entrence to the apprentice den. "Phantompaw? Where the heck are you?" I mumbled under my breath, my tail twitching. I looked over at the patrols coming into the camp, then those that were going out. "Is he out on patrol?" I thought outloud, my yellow eyes serching for signs of him. Phantompaw was my best friend, and now he was moving on, to apprenticeship. Crud. That meant I would be seeing him less and less. I wanted to see him so bad. Who else would be my best friend? "Where is he..." I murmured out loud.

[Phantomwhisper]

Phantompaw looked up to see is friend Fastkit. "Hey Fastkit." He smiled as he sropped the mice he had been holding in his mouth to the ground in his green nest. After a moment of silnce Phantompaw's yellow sun-like eyes sparkled as he said in a deep musical voice, "What brings you to the apprentice den? You're not an apprentice are you?" Phantompaw asked trying to remember if he had been asleep during such an important event.

I turned to see my best friend, Phantompaw. "Man, I thought you were gone without saying goodbye!" I meowed, tail twitching with excitment as I saw him. "I'm glad your here!"

[Phantomwhisper]

Phantompaw purred and looked down at the long furred kit. Phantompaw had grown sence he had last seen Fastkit. When he last was with the tom Phantompaw hunched his back stayed low to the ground and stayed in the shadows. After a lesson with Bumblepaw the apprentice now was much larger than before with long legs. His head held high and his back straight. "I've miss you, How've you been?" Asked Phantompaw in a musical voice while making himself comfortable in what smelled like Moonpaw's nest.

"Well, first off, bored. There's nobody else thats my best friend!" I exclaimed, walking around Phantompaw. "And I've missed you, too! You don't know how boring the nursery has gotten since you left." Yup. Since Phantomkit turned into Phantompaw, well, it was just boring anymore inside the nursery. "So, uh..." I tried striking up conversation, but I wasn't very good at it. "What do you want your warrior name to be? I want mine to be Fastblaze!"

[Phantomwhisper]

Phantompaw looked at Fastkit and gave an amused smile. "Well, when are you becoming an apprentice sily!" He exclaimed tackleing into Fastkit as he had when they were kits.

I smiled and got tackled by my best friend. Over the years, I had grown into a massive orange cat, and I let Phantompaw tackle me. I swiped his ear playfully, like we did when we were kits.

-He's still a kit silly. Remember XD If you start as a kit when you make a thread even if you turn into an apprentie you stay a kit in the thread.-

Phantompaw looked at Fastkit and leaped off his back, "Remember when we all first met?"

I stood up and nodded, smiling at Phantompaw. "Yeah! I remember it like it was yesterday!" It was a couple of days ago, actually. Pretty stupid of me, eh?
