Her royal blue eyes were like pools, with flecks of lavender and light blue swimming around like minnows.
Truly, this was the apprentice's most beautiful feature.
But in her mind, only one thought was swimming around.
'Sunny is gone. Sunny is gone. Sunny is gone.'
It echoed, vibrating her whole mind.
Why? Why her?
It was always her.[/size]

She was always the one who suffered.
Her and Gin.
She knew she shouldn't be sitting here, pitying herself, but how couldn't she?
How couldn't she when her whole life had been ruined?

Sunny was gone.
He had disappeared.
Foxy was no where to be seen, which meant her training had stopped to a screeching halt.
Gin was in the same state she was in.
Well, what could she say?

The tabby apprentice buried her muzzle in her paws, her long tail swishing mournfully in the dirt.
She was located underneath her favorite boulder, on the edge of camp.

The pretty she-cat sighed.

Her blue-gray eyes began to water, the moisture accumulating until a single drop fell on a leaf below, like dew in the early morning.
She watched as it slid slowly off the leaf and onto the earth.
It soaked into the dirt, silently, resentfully.

That was her.

All of a sudden, Lilypaw looked up.
I shadow fell across here frail form.

Moonpaw scented the air looking for prey. She caught a scent, but not prey..... A cat. Moonpaw followed the scent to a boulder and saw a pretty she-cat sitting alone. She seemed sad. Moonpaw stood over her so her shadow fell across the cat. She sat next to her. "Hi. I'm Moonpaw. What's wrong?" she asked. Though she wasn't in the mood for aking friends.

My teal eyes were reflective, thoughtful.

The color and smell of her sister greeted her and she tottered over.
"He's gone. Sunny's gone."
She whispered. Her voice was choked with bitterness and grief. Lilypaw probably knew but it felt right to tell someone.

My best friend's blurry image swam before my eyes.
My sweeping tail drooped, defeated.

Glancing up at the clouds, I let out a sad little moan.
"Why, CloudClan? Why? How can yo be so cruel?"
My plead was quiet, barely audible, my voice deafeated.

I looked at Gingerpaw, my odd, beautiful, eyes as big as saucers.
"Gin..." My voice was toneless.

I turned my gaze to an object in the distance only I could see.
