I had just gotten attacked by an eagle, and Cloudspirit had come to my rescue. She had gotten the worst out of the two of us, and it was time for my job to start. Spottedkit had helped out with Silversplash...I didn't want her in here for this one. This one was going to take a lot of time to heal. Better get some burdock root, poppy seed, and some cobwebs. Dock leaves would come in handy, too. I gathered these herbs and watied for Cloudspirit to come.

[-cough- I'm cloud frost, not cloudspirit] Cloudfrost stumbled into the den, her legs were already starting to give in. But she pushed on all the way here. Mission complete, she thought happily. "Are you ready?" she asked tiredly. Without an answer she chose an empty nest and lied down. Her eyes were still ablaze with the ferocity of the battle. And against an eagle! That would be a mighty story to tell to the kits one day, or apprentices, or even just as an elder. That would be amazing. Wait, she was injured, who said she would even make as far as an elder? Cloudfrost shook her head, green eyes looking back at Snakefang, "Ready when you are sir." she slurred. She glanced backwards at the cut along her spine, she could see exactly where the claws dug in, when she twisted around in them they were dislodged and scraped along her back. Maybe it might have been better to just let it tke her. she thought with a chuckle.

(Sorry!)
I started to heal her. First, I gave her two poppy seeds. "These will ease the pain and make you fall asleep," I told her. "Eat them." Next, I took some dock (I almost typed dork XD) leaves and chewed them up. I applied them to the wound. Then I chewed up some burdock and put them on the wound. I sniffed the wound. The bleeding was slowing. That was good. I unwrapped some cobwebs and put them on the wound, the bleeding ceasing. Slowly, the blood stopped, and Cloudfrost was healed. "Now, you'll have to stay in the den for a few days. Probably, four days. I will let you out on the fifth day, but take it easy. No battle training, and always stay with someone when you hunt. When the wound is fully healed, which might take a couple of weeks, you can do whatever you warriors need to do."

Cloudfrost lapped u the small black seeds, "Alright, your the boss." she replied, her eyes already drooping. No more duties for a little while was fine with her. As long as she wasn't stuck in here forever until she was okay. Her eyes fully closed as she drifted off into a fitfull sleep of beaks, claws, and feathers.

I watched her flank rise and fall, then sighed in releif. My first real crisis -besides Silversplash's paw- was over with. Done. And Cloudfrost would live.
