The newly named Spottedpaw slunk through the apprentices' den entrance, with a bundle of moss in her jaws. Her chest fur dripping water, she dropped the moss in the front corner of the den, where the most sun was and made her nest soft with moss. With a sigh, she plopped down, her ears pricked and curious to see an apprentice.

Diamondpaw saw another apprentice in the den, holding dripping moss in her jaws. maybe she could use a friend. "Hi!" Diamondpaw cheerily called as she bounded up to the apprentice. "My name's Diamondpaw! What's your?" she asked, blinking her warm brown eyes.

The ginger apprentice slunk quietly into the den, head down. She turned it in the direction of Diamondpaw and Spottedpaw. She had met Diamondpaw and had liked the pearl-white she-cat. Another apprentice stood across from her, and Gin's eyes narrowed, but in a curious sort of way. Meeting new cats had become one Gingerpaw's hobbies. She had been here too long to ignore the constant flow of cats. She stalked over there, curious, like a fox sniffing a squirrel-infested tree. Move too quickly... And everything would be lost. But why would she care? Gin was an outsider. And she would always be. Nilla straightened up, her eyes moving over the cats expressionlessly, as if looking at a pool in a foggy dream.

Spottedpaw looked up to the two apprentices. "Uh, hi! I'm Spottedpaw!" she said cheerily, one good eye cheerful. The left side of her face was scarred badly, therefore incurable.
