The tortoiseshell apprentice, bearing the new name Dapplepaw, padded into the apprentices' den, carrying moss between my sharp white teeth. I found a spot near the walls of the den, and spread out my moss there, creating my nest. I sit there, waiting to see if any other apprentices would come in

Gingerpaw looked at the new apprentice curiously. After a moment or two, she padded over and sat down near her, regarding the she-cat. After curling her tail around her paws, she let a cheerful mew greet the young apprentice, "Hi! I'm Gingerpaw! You can call me Gin!"

I purr. "Hi Gingerpaw. I'm Dapplepaw. My mentor is Cloudfrost. I'm pleased to meet you." I smile, because I love meeting new cats, especially ones of my own age.

Silverpaw was a new apprentice and did't know very many, she saw two apprentices so she padded over "hi i'm Silverpaw" she said smiling "your Ginderpaw right i'v seen you around" she said nodding to the apprentice. "who are you"? she asked the other apprentice turning to her.

I dip my head to Silverpaw. "My name's Dapplepaw. My mentor is Cloudfrost. She's a great mentor!" The tip of my tail twithes. "New apprentice, huh?"

"its nice to meet you my mentor is Windswirl...Yea i'm new" she smile at her. Theses apprentices were just the think to get her mind off of Dustpaw. Why did everything always lead to Dustpaw?
