The silver tabby rested peacefully in her nest, her ears twitching every once in a while and so did her tail. A yawn escaped the she - cat’s maw, her eyelids fluttering open to reveal startling blue hued orbs. She raised her head from her paws, seeing that the light was now cascading down in various directions, coming in from the small holes that poked the roof of the Warriors’ Den.
With a small sigh, Mistywind hoisted herself up to her paws and began drawing her tongue over her ruffled fur, ridding it of the moss and brambles. Then she shook her pelt, making it look fluffy and to hide the many scars that were etched deeply into her skin as she padded out of the spacious den. It was already mid - morning and Mistywind could see several of her clanmates milling about and doing what they were told to do. Her blue gaze flickered to the Elders’ Den, where her father, Shadowwing, and Firelight, a friend of hers, now resided.
Deciding on replacing their bedding properly, Mistywind set off to find some good moss and brambles. After finding a decent amount, the slender figured warrior trotted off and went inside the den, careful not to set both the elders in a bad mood. She padded up to Firelight, gently nudging the black she - cat to wake her up so she can set to work. “Fire . . . Wake up.” Mistywind said in a soft soothing purr.

Shadowwing blinked open his bright blue eyes at the sound of another cat walking into the den. He had never been much of heavy sleeper ever since he had become a warrior. He sat up and stretched, and groomed his fur back into place. Shadowwing walked over to Firelight's nest and nudged her with his paw, a bit more roughly than he'd intended. "Firelight, Mistywind wants you."

Firelight blinked her eyes. Under any circumstance, had it not been Shadowwing to wake her - this was the only feline she tolerated, due to a rather bound friendship - she would have bitten the ears off the assailant. Two felines, the scents told her, were in her den. And one of those two was not herself.
Glancing around, Firelight's tail swayed with doubt, and she locked her gaze on Mistywind with a endearing, narrowed stare. Whothehellwasshe?
"What.. are you doing in my den?"
With a slight pace backwards, as means of inching to the furthest wall from this stranger, the elder never did break her stare to the warrior. Well.. to start.. this cat was female. That was alright, she supposed, couldn't do much more harm than a male could. And.. she was purring, therefore content. How.. awkward.

Mistywind looked over her side to see Shadowwing, her ‘father’, also trying to wake up the sleeping elder. When the tabby finally saw Firelight’s eyelids part to reveal her yellow hued eyes, Mistywind bowed her head low and took a few steps back in simple respect for the elderly she - cat. “Sorry if I disturbed you, Fire. I just thought I’d change your nest. ’Cause most of the apprentices do a bit dreadful when it comes to nest changing.” She explained in a gentle voice.
